July 28, 2009 Lesson learnt. Carlton fans conned me into tipping their boys to take care of Collingwood. One glance at the Blues' line-up should have told me otherwise.
I don't like to blame one bloke for a nine-goal hiding. It's not in my nature. But I will.

Chris Johnson wasn't good enough to play regularly for Melbourne Demons as they battled to drag themselves off the bottom of the ladder. Now the same Chris Johnson is handed the all-important kick-in duties and a game for a club many suppose will play finals footy. Give me a break.

I hope Mr and Mrs Johnson aren't too hurt by me pinning the fall of the Carlton Football Club on their little boy. If they are, the e-mail address can be found below along with my early thoughts for round 18.

Haha yeah, I saw him sitting on the bench at one point and felt a slight twinge of regret knowing he was an MFC boy (always get that with players that leave), then I realised he's total crap and I was ok with it. I love the bake that Connolly (I think?) gave him when he left.

He would have been a much, much better player if he stayed at Melbourne, I saw his career high 34 possesion game in that thrilling win against Brisbane last year and left the ground that day thinking this guy will be a great player in years to come for us, pitty.

The thing Chris forgot when he was chasing the big $$$ was that in order to get a regular gig in the side you have to actually be a decent player.
