AFL Club
Collingwood
My 800th game of watching Collingwood play. That is not counting pre season or praccy matches. That is 800 games of Home and Away and Finals.
My parents kept a log from when I was young and I have kept adding to it.
That is a lot of Pies footy and I am still loving it as much as my first game at Victoria Park when I was 2.

Wow, 800, that's stunning, gratz, that really shows your commitment and support for this club.:thumbsu::thumbsu:

I'd say I'd be sitting at around 500 or so, so I've got a way to go to get anywhere near you.:)

theres something fantastic and likewise something quite weird about this. :D
Lol not so weird as you'd think at first glance vj - when I first started going as a boy there were guys there that could vividly remember the '17/19 premierships :eek:

Must say I didn't see all complete games, since I started operating my own business my time is much shorter so sometimes I can only make first or last half and occasionally I can only make it for one quarter, but I reckon its important to at least show your support for the boys every week. :D:thumbsu:

Well done...true supporters thru thick & thin.
Some of those games no doubt at Waverley (VFL Park) in absolute arctic conditions. Pouring rain at Arden street, trying to see thru the brollies, with a mud wrestling match & not being able to identify players/teams (clash jumpers wud not of helped). Squeezing in near the bowling green at Windy Hill, but the best of all wud be the numerous (great) victories at Victoria Park.
1990 was a dream come true.
Congrats guys

I remember traveling down on the old Diesel country trains to Sleepy hollow to play the Cats in the '60's - took almost as long to get to Kardinia Park then as it does now to fly to Sydney or Adelaide and once you got there you had to withstand the blizzard like conditions BRRRRRRR!!!!! The old Victoria Park wasn't a picnic either but opposition players feared the crowds there almost as much as they feared the Pies lol

Fantastic Idea.

Will do for my child in a few years. Due in November, so won't start taking him/her until they're about 5, which is when I started going.

I'd be somewhere in the vicinity of 400 games I think. Not too sure. You'd have to give or take for finals/working/family occasions. But I've egenrally gone to every game I physically could barring interstate games.

My Nan saw the four flags in a row and my Grandad who was born in 1893 was at the first Collingwood game in 1897. I didnt have much choice.

That's a tremendous heritage that you have. :thumbsu:

Got Footy Records for all of them? :D
