This week v Magpies who is standing?

Who is going to stand on the wing and watch this Sunday v the Magpies. I watched the situation last game and there is telly's at bay 34,35 and there seems no problem with people standing and watching. With Sunday being mothers day will there be a smaller turn up? if so a seat on level 1 is possible. Has anybody had any problems sitting in level 1 without a reserved seat?

DOC, I've managed to scam a seat quite a few times on level one when it's not our home game. Just wait for the first bounce and then go and sit in an area where there are a few spare seats, you're most likely to get one of these closer to the goal ends.

We sat in the AFL members when we played the Bulldogs there last year, and never had a problem. This new Footyboard is taking me awhile to get used to. Someone will have to explain all of the things you can do on here now.

Scanned it from a sticker and mucked around for 2 hours in paint to get it to 50 x 50 pix. I also am a novice at this sort of thing and I doubt it was worth all the mucking around.

Behind the goals is not that appealing but a seat is a seat thanks.

I wonder which race we'll be coming out of for this match. I know the LaTrobe end is our home rooms, but I remember it being our away rooms last year, so maybe we'll always use these rooms this year.......

Standing makes it quicker and easier to go grab a beer or pie, you don't have to squash past 20 pairs of knees to get to an aisle, and you don't have to stand up a hundred times while the dickhead next to you keeps getting up for a beer or pie.
Standing also enables you to change ends at quarter time to stand behind your own goals if you're that way inclined. Not that it would have brought much viewing this year.

Last week I was down at the North cheer squad end and they were deliberately keeping people out of two whole bays around the goals. I asked the young bloke at the 'entrance' and he said he had been instructed by the head dudes to not let anyone sit their and tell everyone that they must have a reserved seat to sit in level 1. He said they were deliberately not selling in this area so that people would think they could sit there and then find out you needed a reserve seat.

This was because the head dudes new that supporters now know that you can basically sit down in level 1 without a reserved seat and they were using it as an example. He had been told to open it at the end of the second qtr which was what happened.

I have sat down in level 1 every time without a reserved seat. You just wait until play starts and there is always a few spare seats.

Good idea 35eye, pay your $10 to be in the Cheersquad and be guaranteed a Level 1 seat!

I guess they won't complain - it's more money to the squad.
