The Shockers have added a few names, same old player list underneath though, which doesn't look like a cue for riotous dancing in the streets to me.
Expect the Unexceptional.
Hope dies hardest, New Season , New Players, New Coach, New Opportunities, Blah, Blah, Blah ,they win a early game and the fans get as smug as Carlton supporters.
After Sunday the Shockers will be looking sullen and grunting in their talk and life as we know it continues.
Its not that we want Richmond to win, But we cant have that crap dockers theme song blaring, its uglier than a fat old guy in a skin toned body shirt! YUK

Bell and Haselby are second to none in close with Cook giving very good support.
Its who we give it to then that we have the problem but it seems that hte likes of walker and siegert have taken the next step and farmer on the ball will definitely help.

I foresee a glorious victory to the mighty dockers.
Your going to have problems with Medhurst,Farmer and Longmuir.
I have conceeded that Gasper will kill Croad but the rest may push you.
I am always quietly confident of Pavlich vs Ottens after he killed Holland last week.

This is brilliant Sabre! Not even the Docker supporters can agree with how they can beat us!

So what will it be? Pace and endurance or inside, in-and-under work?

Just remember this - Carlton are the Kings of tight in-and-under football - the reason why they so often beat the Bombres - and yet we beat them at their game every time.

Also remember Sabre, there is a very good reason why we finished 3rd last year....

... and you finished stone motherless last!

Danger Game. I wouldn't be so cocky everyone. With freo's injection of talent and the young ones they have with more experience it will be close. A real test. I'm wooried aout this one 3-1 would be a great start 2-2 and we in the pack for a while.

You may find this list funny, Sabre! We've let go Schaeffer, Eastaugh, Francis, Smith and McKee, all ruckmen and most ending up at Collingwood! Do you think they will ever learn!

In recent memory, the only kids we've let go who has gone on to become something are Matthew Clarke (Brisbane/Adelaide) and Justin Murphy (Carlton).

We did lose Stuart Maxfield and Craig Lambert, but they were established players who had received massive offers from Sydney and Brisbane respectively which were way over the mark for what they were worth. If we had a choice, I guess we would had preferred to keep them.
