The Dee's lineup for Saturday's game against the tigers is as follows.

B: Whelan, Nicholson, Bizzell
HB: Bruce, Wheatley, Brown
C: Woewodin, Powell, Johnstone
HF: Yze, Schwarz, Robertson
F: Green, Neitz, J.McDonald
Foll: White, Leoncelli, Walsh
Inter: Armstrong, A.McDonald, Broadbridge, Vardy
Emerg: Williams, Funcke, Ellis
In: -
Out: -

I find it interesting that Jolly has been left out, having White as the only ruckman is a risky plan IMO, no way can he do it for the whole year while maintaining form.

Ellis is listed as an emergency and will probably come in sometime in the next couple of weeks after fully recovering from his knee surgery. I am hopeful that Jolly is also brought in sometime in the next couple of weeks to relieve White’s ruck load.

This is how they will line-up if Richmonds team remains the same as quoted today, interesting that Rory Hilton has been left out.

F:Krakouer, Holland, Poyas
B: Whelan, Nicholson, Bizzell
HF: Hall, Ottens, Tivendale
HB: Bruce, Wheatley, Brown
C: Knights, Bowden, Fiora
C: Woewodin, Powell, Johnstone
HB: Cameron, A.Kellaway, Rogers
HF: Yze, Schwarz, Robertson
B: Torney, Gaspar, Sziller
F: Green, Neitz, J.McDonald
Foll: Stafford, Campbell, King
Foll: White, Leoncelli, Walsh
Inter: Houlihan, Zantuck, Rodan, Chaffey
Inter: Armstrong, A.McDonald, Broadbridge, Vardy

Expect Ellis to come in for Wheatley, we'd be crazy to Risk him really doing his hammy. Can't belive Jolly's not in, what if Whitey get's injured, we're knackered!

I'd have Vardy in if I were Richmond, he cut us up in round 1 last season, he MUST be injured! If he's an emergency don't be surprised if he comes in late.

He isn't an emergency and not on Richmond's injury list, not sure whats up with him.

I reckon Wheatley will pull out for Ellis.

Jolly will have a game or two in the seconds before coming in. Hard to see who he could really replace though.

I'm certain Royce Vardy was dropped on form alone, why I do not know!

Jolly was fit & in form in Pre season so why bring him back via Sandy? He could replace Broady for starters! Whitey needs back up.

True, you have a point.

Even though I hate to say it, Armstrong is the expendable one there as well.

Too bad there is nothing we can do about it now.

He'll be in, in a couple of weeks.

I have had the same hunch all week, it all depends on how bad Wheatley is and also if Ellis had fully recovered from his knee injury.

I'm pretty sure Ellis is over his injury, & the only reason he's been out is because, he got two weeks for punching Neeta in round 22.

Broady may be able to cover for Wheatley if his hammy goes considering that Richo's not playing & Ottens is doubtful.

Ellis may benefit from a week at Sandy, however I'd still have him in, AFTER DARREN JOLLY!

Ellis had knee surgery after one of the Wizard Cup games, and missed the last one for memory, there was talk on Demonland that his injury was going to make him just ok for round 3, so fingers crossed that your right and he'll play!

And on Ottens, he trained strongly and WILL play :( (I knew that was going to happen)

Yes and no word about changing the line up in the demon camp either. I really hoped Jolly would come in for someone like Broady and that Ellis will replace Wheatly.
But I guess Neale Daniher doesn't wanna muck around with a winning combination. I do however think that a change could come late in the form of maybe Macca seeing as though he's the only one who hasn't fully recovered from Sunday.
I think the other reason Neale has made no changes is to show the guys that he believes in them and to let them know that they should consider themselves lucky to be in the team because one mistake and they could very easily be replaced. Its more of a phsycological thing rather than anything I would guess.

a ungchanged team is a lossing team :p :D like it was for Richmond last week :(.na really it should be a good close game i'll just hope Richmond can win.
