Simmo does NOT deserve to be dropped. It is unfair on him to bring him in and drop him in 2 weeks. He was ok 2 weeks ago and last week had limited game time:mad:

Scratching my head on that one too... he wasn't our worst but he was getting a little lost... maybe they thought he wouldn't have handled another week in midfield?

Still... Beasy for Mott was a better choice but that's harsh on Beasy as well... stupid sympathy - you just can't win! :p

who is going to tag brown?? i thought bannister would have been a perfect in to take him ... i think he took him in a pre-season game.

thoughts.

Mott is **** ... while beasy wont win teh taps, he can be damaging around ground. where mott is not.

did u watch the collingwood game?? he was in the best for the bullants team over the weekend ...

i think he's a talented goal sneek, im happy he's been included ...

very dissapointed it was simpson who got dropped tho.

yes i did watch the collingwood game.
he did jack **** for 3 quarters, than fell ass over backwards into 3 goals. All of which he just sneaked in with wobbly drop punts from about 35m out.

I don't think he's a goal sneak, and i don't think he's a midfielder as he doesn't get the ball.

personally id prefer to see lappin down forward, put some real pressure on them .... he is the best goal sneek we've got

as for davies, ive never been a huge fan, but who knows he might suprise u.

With regards to Davies I agree with Abaddon in that I dont think he played very well against Collingwood and that the last quarter was more good fortune and an opposition that stopped than good play.

However I do believe that he has natural talent. [ one example being in Perth a couple of years ago when he got about 13 quality possessions in the first qtr] He just appears to lack in confidence, an area that I think Denis has made worse in him.

Having said that Justin needs to find the inner strenghth to stay confident in his abilities even when the cards are not falling his way. If he shows character and strenghth he will win Denis over and become a valuable addition to our side.

what about who where gonna man up on stafford and ottens? beasy and prenda will seem to get the gig. i dont like seeing deluca in the ruck. i much prefer to see him upforward.

do ppl think that mott should have been given a go, esp against stafford??

yes i do.
even if Mott just jumped into Stafford or Ottens all game, and ran with them around the ground.

Going in without a proper ruckmen is a bad decision. It could leave Carlton exposed in this area.

Well done to Wiggins on his 50th. He's been bagged in the past, But I'm starting to come around abit on him, maybe its a bit premature to hang a player before he's found his feet. His last 4 games have been pretty good (Hard but not flashy). Its his next 50 games that we should start to see what he's capable of, and be able to make a more accurate assesment of him.

Seems he's played a hell of alot more than Livo and Sporn, can anyone tell me how many games they have played?

Well done Wiggins, keep up the improvement.

Only reason sporn has less games is due to injury. I can't ever recal sporn being omittied, he has always been out injured and then staight into the senior side when match fit.

Wiggo gets his oppotunity because he listens to the coach and tries his guts out when in the VFL, and in the seniors.

He may not be the most skilled or flasy but he has really come on in the last too years.

Needs to add bulk to his frame though.

I'm a big fan of Wiggins, the way he attacks the ball, I remember watching him last year when we were struggling, it reminded me of Andy McKay attacking the ball!

A quesition, who should we have dropped for Davies?

IF we HAD to drop 1 player... who?
