lol!! yeah, we'll ask him the next time he's on... lol, he'll be like wtf?!?!? and if he reads any of this i think he'll be scared and pretty much just run away! but still... hehe

lol I look forward to BPP's reaction as well

wow, he doesn't seem that bad!! seeing as biz has been turned into a defender, we'll need someone like that up forward. whats his av for a match??
also whats his marking like?? does he take flyers, or on the run, or just those to him?? lol, while ya at it, whats his whole life history :D hehe. nah, i'm just hopinh he's good. some say he's great - such as yourself, and others say he's pretty ****ty - such as dee.

When I say he's great, I mean he's potentially a very good goal sneak, capable of..... say 40-45 goals a year if he plays well, which is 2 a game. He won't be great every game but the opposition will need to mark him closely and in a forward setup such as the Demons have, he could flourish. Of course, it's premature to say such things but I like to boost opposition supporters hopes :)

As for Dee, she wouldn't have many nice things to say about Crows players, former and present....if I recall correctly she hates us with a passion :D

Just on his marking ability, he's definitely not a high flyer... he doesn't take many aerial grabs and plays mostly close to ground.

He'll be a good fit for the Dees...

For you, Vards vital statistics:

Born 26/01/76 181 cms 83 kgs 96 matches 150 goals Approx. 1.5 goals a game.

hrm... seems like he'll fit with us ok! lol, nicki just doesn't like them coz... i dunno actually. she wants vardy to prove himself before she starts to support him, and i understand that.
as for you getting my hopes up with him... well... i guess we all get our hopes up when we get new players, hopeing they'll perform well for us, so all you've done is layed the first line.
i didn't litterally mean give me all his detains!! :) lol, but thanx anyways!! when was his debut?

He debuted in 1996. :)

Just on Dee supporting Vards, I would have thought any player that pulls on the Melbourne jumper would have a Demons' fan utmost support.

Hahaha :D

Yeah, the name comes from "Big Poppa Pump, Scott Steiner". He's supposed to have "the largest arms in the world" but with the amount of juice(steroids) he's pumped into them you'd hope they were. I saw the NRL footy show as well and was suprised with how calm he was. He's usually a very hostile sort of person. I really thought he was gonna crack it (for real) when Fatty commented on his small bones :p

If I was 1/20 of his size Id be happy. At the moment Im developing a bit of a pot gut which is becoming somewhat of an icon in itself :). If the girls are up for it maybe we can all get together one day and show off our physiques. :D ;)

does he really have the biggest arms in the world?? and hey, its not all about the arms you know... :D

Well Melbourne has once again decided it would be funny to be mean to me and named Clarky in the team only for me to find out he played for Sandy today!! :(:(:(
Ohhhhh well....... at least Powell is there, and Neita and Woey seem to have pulled up ok and we got Vardy in too so I guess its not all bad..........
I live in hope that one day he will play........ :(

don't you ever ever lose that hope Dees Rule!

If you knew me, you'd know that I'm very passionate and when I care about something or someone or want something to happen I will never ever stop wishing, hoping or believing in them, thats just the way I am.
I'm sure half the people here have already written Robbo off for this year but I'm not gonna do that because I believe in him, just like I believe that Clarky will get his break sooner or later and will be a good player for us.
So to answer your question NO, I never lose that hope, I never lose hope in Melbourne or my boys and god damn it Clarky will play!!!!!!!! :( :)

Yes, Dees Rule will continue to live in hope that Clarky will play for the Dees. Probably up until ten years after we've delisted him. She'll still say "We can get him back. He can still play for us. He's gonna be a champion."

A question: if we do delist him without him playing a game, would his son qualify under the Father/Son law. You may have to wait a while, Dees Rule, but there may be hope of a Clark playing for the Dees yet!

Ahhh...... thats the kind of reply I was hanging around for... I knew someone couldn't bite their tounge any longer!
Hey Madboy if Clarky gets delisted without ever playing well than it'll be a lose in my eyes but thats how life goes. But if everytime I wanted to see something that was a bit out of reach I gave up on it than I can tell you right now I would have missed a lot of good stuff that has happened in my life. So I'm not giving up hope no matter how many times that hope gets shattered.

Hope is good. Never lose it. And if you do lose it, look for it behind the coach.

Its amazing what ends up back there.

Anyone actually know if Vardy was picked in the final 22??

I know Funcke and Clark won't play, but I am pretty sure Vardy will......anyone know for sure?? I missed the paper today.

Vardy In
Williams Out

Apparently Williams played a blinder for Sandy today and will probably be considered for next week again. Ward also played a half and pulled up OK.

LOL, that coach certainly pulls hopes out of nowhere! :p
But look its too easy to give up isn't it?? I mean if our player gave up when sh$t got tough we would have lost the last two games right?? I say never lose hope coz if you do.... well what have you got left?
