Doesn't look like Chapman is 100% otherwise they would have included him in the starting 18 with Milburn and Scarlett.

For Sunday:

In: Scarlett, Milburn
Out: Gamble, Varcoe

Don't want that to happen.

At Skilled on a wet day, you want a backline consisting of Scarlett, Taylor, Harley, Mackie, Milburn?

Taylor should make way. Not because of last week but because of the conditions with another small being handy. Especially if Chapman does not play.

That's a good point. Last time we played North we were too small down back after we dropped Taylor, but that was at the Dome.

So would you keep Varcoe in to allow a Kelly to drop back and pick up a small forward?

Hmmmmmm........great team, tough for whoever goes out. My tip will be Brynes, Varcoe and 1 of Prismall or Gamble

For my own selfish needs (SC) i need Milburn, Chappy and Gamble in, or at the very least 1 out of Chappy and Gamble, preferrably Chappy:D

Gee, the Roos are going in tall, with essentially four ruckmen in McIntosh, Petrie, Hale and N.Thompson all named. If, as predicted, it's wet, having all those talls in the side would only help us.

As for our side, looking at how the bench is named, it seems to me that Varcoe, Prismall and Gamble will be the ones omitted.

Selwood on the bench? Interesting. I can see him suffering from "general soreness" this week and being rested for a week before the finals.

Selwood is often named as an interchange, will not be rested.

I'd guess:

In : Milburn, Scarlett, [Chapman]
Out : Prismall, Varcoe, [Gamble/Selwood (rest)]

Scarlett for Taylor.
Milburn for Varcoe - Corey will return to the midfield.
Gamble/Byrnes for Chapman.
Bomber had Prisa in his best last week so I'd be surprised if he was an exclusion. Plus, you need in-and-under players in the wet.

Probably the best inclusions i've ever seen, lol.

I just want you guys to hurry up and thump North, i can't stand their supporters having high spirits.

blake named in the forward pocket
goal feast:D

No doubt he's there to crumb for LongTom and get the assists from SJ and Camster. Thought they'd keep this secret weapon for the BIG ONE. Should throw Laidley's gameplan out the window. :D

Pretty sure Gamble, Varcoe, Prismall are the emergencies.

The current line-up appears to be who we will go with in September. I think Wojcinski will be touch and go to regain his spot.

This line-up is our best current 22 IMO.

McIntosh and Petrie are probably better at ground level than some of our medium players and I doubt Nathan Thompson will play.

I think tall men are underrated in wet conditions, as long as you don't have too many of them. I'd much rather the ball be going in to Hale in the goal square in the wet rather than a medium forward.
