Nonetheless, re: the loss of draft picks, I wonder if his mouth can cope sucking on an Ostrich size egg, the old Budgie? LOL!

GASO
:p

Who knows ... he may do a Wallace and go into the media for a year!!!!!:D :D :D :D

Yep Pagan is going to forgoe $2mil over the next 3 yrs coz they lost some draft choices.

Stick to reality guys, Pagan is not stupid, and he doesnt even play the kids in their first year, so whatever kids they get in the draft wouldnt be in next years plans.

AHAHAHAHA now that was certainly a good read, brought a smile to my face it did. I cannot imagine how happy i would be if it came true. Not happy as in suck sh*t Carlton, but happy as in suck sh*t Deni$ and pigs arse Elliot. I would like to see the face of Elliot if that came true and it serves Denis right for leaving us. I don't mind Carlton as the team and a lot of Carlton BF peeple like BB666 are quite nice. Having said all that, i don't think it will come true although i would like it to. It's just too good to believe from my point of view. IMO there is a good chance Carlton might lose its first 2 picks, but a highly unlikely chance Denis will go because of it.

Hilarious if it was true, but even if the Blues lose their first two picks, I doubt that Pagan will walk. If anything, he'd use the lost picks as a basis for extending his power within Pigs Arse Oval.

And it isn't as if he's going to return to the insurance industry and get paid that $700,000 a year to keep his family above the poverty line either.

Magnificent fiction

Seems to be no more than a beautiful revenge fantasy - if it is true he can coach the Flemington under 8s next year - I hear they have a few good prospects.

It also depends on the opt out clause.

What if it was "$2mill over 3 years and if you lose the 1st 2 picks you have to pay out my contract"

2 million dollars for about 1 months work and most of that would have been media interviews and sacking some fringe carlton players.

that would be so bad I would almost feel sorry for them

reminds me of the ibm advert:

"what's this?"
"triangle"
"what's this?"
"triangle"
pagan walks
"what is that it?! how much did that cost us?"
"2 million dollars"
"and he's not even going to stick around to see if it works?!?"

Why should any of that crap concern us?
If Pagan leaves Carlton, we certainly wouldn't be renegotiating with him.
He can do what ever he likes now.

My thoughts exactly.

Carlton won't lose their draft picks, the AFL don't have the balls. With decling crowd attendances, the AFL need Carlton to be playing finals footy along with Essendon & Collingwood.

When was the last time that Essendon, Carlton & Collingwood all played in a finals series?
