Maybe it's tainted bullshit? The lawyers are trying to distract the focus on anything but the truth.
Sheep. Lets follow the media, and what they think. Much better. These guys are searching for answers currently, because they don't know how they got this drug in their system.

I thought we lived in a society that we are innocent until proven guilty. Someone else got the same drug from meat, but it is unthinkable that this happened. WHY?

ok, mate. keep believing it was the contaminated meat then;)
Thanks for your permission, but I don't need it. Someone else has been cleared because of it being transferred by meat, but apparently us Aussies need to eat a whole cow, and the cows in NZ are muscly enough to not need the drug in a squeaky clean country. That is much more believable ffs, some people are contradictory and don't even know it.

Do you think if that was their defense we wouldn't have heard it by know?

An ex cop once told me "say nothing" when asked (no I'm not a crim)

The boys at the moment are doing exactly that. Until the B sample comes back "the silence should be deafening"

not just sheep, contaminated sheep!
Instead of being sarcastic, how about telling me how individuals have had the drug in their systems after eating steak, and how that is totally impossible because it is NZ instead of Mexico or China. My guess is that you need a precedence or your head is in the sand.

IMO they took clen tablets to try and improve their running or aerobic capacity -90% chance

there may be a 9% chance they had it added to their coke, if that. but this is what they will try and use to try and get their sentence down. Clen gives you heart palpitations though so its a really dangerous mix (not that dealers give a ****). I'm not Walter White though so its not my area of expertise

mate I'm not saying it is impossible to get it from contaminated meat, i give it a 1% chance.

Personally I think they are cooked and will never play AFL again

I honestly hope I'm wrong though

"D" I admire your loyalty I really do but in this instance I think your drawing a long bow.
Whilst not wanting to hang them out to dry, the balance of probability leans more to the cocaine option, (sorry to say).
I will support them until their wrong-doing is confirmed and (if) when that happens my support evaporates.
Personally I'd lock the thread, there's nothing more to add until post 14/4 sample test.
But hey that's just me.

Innocent until proven guilty?

They have already been proven guilty by testing positive to a banned PED :$

Of course they are gonna say they don't know how it happened.. what else are they gonna say? Yeah we were just snorting some cocaine and it was there... or yeah sorry just wanted to take some PED's over in NZ.. clever.

I can tell it is not your area of expertise. How could you have any clue on what the chances are? It is impossible to have that judgement. It is plausable to me that a NZ farmer who is supplying restaurants may well of contaminated the meat.

You didn't see the players when they were told that they tested positive or anything, so you are just guessing. If you seen their body language when told, you might have a 10% chance of having any idea.

Sitting out and judging at a distance, I nearly have you in the negatives of having any clue at all to be honest.

no matter how they got a positive whether it be the clen tabs or the coke, they are bunch of ******* idiots who should be booted from the club as soon as the 2nd sample comes back positive

Balance of probability? What are we talking here, you have a great respect for your own opinion, so that is balanced heavily in your favour. That is very amusing to me.

I can't see how anyone can discount it. I have heard the heads of the Beef industries reason why it can't be true, and that was you would need to eat a whole cow. So how reliable are those "expert" words? Honestly, if that were true, we have a Mexican Soccer team and a guy who rode in the Tour De France, who all eat whole cows for dinner.

Money talks, bullshit walks. Our two players are likely victims of some money hungry farmer who wanted more money for his beef, but because no one else has been caught for it in NZ, it never happens.

What did you expect the Beef industry of NZ to say? Yeah, they probably got it from our meat, cmon, your easily persuaded to society's easy answers are best theory.

Believe what you want but don't slam the opinions of others on here just because they believe the more likely story.

But is the Information good or bad for the 2 boys?
It's not good Dave......I wish I could tell you it was.
I don't think it means anything.

It's just stock standard legal advice from lawyers who have the best interests of their client at heart.

There is no benefit to the players whatsoever to talk to the club - so why would they?
