If the B sample comes back positive, I support them being suspended and if they are then found guilty by the tribunal I support their immediate sacking. Realistically, I'd be fine if they were sacked once the B sample comes back positive as the chance of them being innocent in that scenario is varnishingly small.

Above all else just want the club to be transparent and demonstrate zero tolerance. Basically if we can think about how Essendon would act and then do the opposite, I'll be happy.

Really disappointed about Keeffe. Really thought he was part of the future and liked him and his story. So dumb to have done this. Thomas I never had much time for.

Hopefully this happening will scare the rest of the group off both PEDs and illicit drugs.

Hi all, long time stalker, not much posting but...
With Keefe out, would anyone have any idea if Gault could be turned into a backman? I know it seems silly and you'll probably call me an idiot (for the record I can be) but if you had Gault at CHB you could still have that tall defender and White in the same side.
It's probably too late for Corey to be turned into a KPD, but hey....why the hell not?
Have a great Easter everyone!

He played as a KPD in the VFL in 2013. Had seriously no idea and was cut up on several occasions.

Must play as a forward/relief ruck if he's to make it.

Keeffe has been training as a KPF over the summer.

In the backline we have Frost, Brown is now back to full health, Reid has been training back, Moore has been training back, and Scharenberg to come in at some stage ... We're well covered without needing to fall back on Gault.

Gault has played a lot of VFL footy as a defender.

Was absolutely hopeless.

The fact Keeffe was earmarked to play forward was one of the more frustrating things I heard from the club all summer.

Regardless of where they were going to play Reid, Keeffe is not a forward.

Disappointed in Keeffe as I really thought he had a ton of potential (as a CHB), JT I'm not fussed by and glad his absence will open up another midfield spot.

Your argument collapses when this question is put to them: "Did you intentionally take a substance (Coke) you knew to be illegal"?
Of course the follow up question is just as damaging: "Have you ever been told illicit drugs often contain other banned drugs?"

I'd like to be there so I could throw in my own question: "Just how f**king stupid are you two? "
Ah yes, if they had been warned that illicit drugs might contain PEDs that's a different thing. From my understanding, the AFL only started informing players about this possibility at the start of this year. If they were warned about it, they're definitely in deep.

They started with the Cow meat excuse. Then when that was not accepted its now laced party drugs. What next. Sounds like a falling person scrambling for a ledge to me. Next will probably say they stood on a syringe with PEDS at ST Kilda beach.

If they genuinely don't know how it got into their bodies, isn't that usually the process you'd go through to try and determine where it came from?

Sure theres a high chance they're guilty, but lets give them a chance first.

Thread has stalled the past day or two. Let's see what new event we can outrageously respond too then spend 4 days talking about different topics such as making heroin legal.

Thoroughly look forward to April 14 where we can do it all again.

Indeed.

This thread is only 6 days old and its size is almost up to our ASADA thread which is over a year old

The drug's meeting have been occurring for years, however I'm positive I heard the same thing that it was only this year that the clubs/players where being informed that illicit drugs where being laced with with clem. Having said that still NO excuses of LK and JT.

Gee who would have thought drug dealers would have done something illegal.

Yep, you are probably correct and its the reason they are held every year; to update players on the most recent information.
However these two f-wits still ignored all the previous 5 years worth of information they had been given i.e. "DON"T DO ANY DRUGS".
I wonder what part of that they had difficulty in understanding?

I think they must have missed the 'You will get caught' part.:(

Oh, that will help them a bit. Funny, it never crossed my mind you might get PEDs in illicit drugs - and I'm guessing it didn't cross theirs either. Wouldn't think it would save them, but might help.
