Not true, it's very common for drug testers to test players while on overseas training camps, we've had it happen to us many times in the past including when we were doing the Arizona training camp.
I see your point, but they tested them when they were in Melbourne. Post-St Kilda festival where they used cocaine.

interesting to note that karmichael hunt has seamlessly glided into the full back position for the queensland red rugby union team in a game in south africa. I must have misread the newspapers last month as I thought he was caught up in some drugs drama. Obviously, that mustnt have been the case. I'm sure that the rich folk who run the pristine private school football code of rugby union would never entertain playing someone who has anything to do with drugs....

it makes you wonder why the toothless yobbos who support the magpies in the working class code of football called AFL, could ever be worried about a couple of their players fooling around with drugs...

The rules are different for star players.

So what you're saying is that our lives, the world and everything in it is predetermined?

If they get found positive on the B sample, and the club decides to sack them... do we get to promote 2x rookies or something? Or get a couple of top up players from somewhere?

No way we would get top up players - the AFL wouldn't want to see to be rewarding / compensating the club for having drug cheats. Promoting rookies might be possible however as it frees up spots on the senior list...? Not sure.

Surely we can essendon got to. Lets get fev
Essendon needed top up players to actually field a full squad.
No other side has received compensation for losing players during a season before, the Hawks with Garlett last year are a good example. They weren't able to add an extra player to their list, or upgrade a rookie. They just had to deal with the loss and move forward.

This has nothing to do with Coke.

They are alleged to have taken a PED. If true, they have no defence of 'but we thought it was coke', so don't even bother going down that path.

If the B sample comes back positive its literally game over for these 2 and good riddance. Sick of these prima donna's thinking they can do what they want. Lesson to all of them.
