Did the MRP actually conclude Daisy's hit was to the head? Or have they just labeled it high?
No it didn't! Contact was not made to the head! No wonder you're off on the topic.
Thomas doesn't have a fitness problem at all, hasn't had a significant injury and won't be missing SO long he will lose match fitness. The worst thing he could do is spend 48 hours on planes to go to a country where he won't even get to kick a football. It'd make a lot more sense if he trains with the group.
For people to say it wasn't worthy of a suspension seriously just watch it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYw7AP_9wG4 it was completely idiotic

I don't know what a medical report said, but I looked at the footage from a number of angles, and I could not see any head contact with any part of Thomas' body. I heard someone on the radio say the same thing after closely looking at all angles. There was clear head high contact...you could try and argue that the majority of the contact was to the upper body.
Jumping off the ground is irrelevant if contact was not made to the head, so therefore it wasn't reckless though. However the point is that by jumping off the ground and making contact with the head that Thomas was reckless.
Reckless, low impact, high contact.

Yes, head or neck. High would mean above the shoulders, and I have not seen anything that shows contact was made to the head or neck.So high contact means they deemed it to be to the head?
Absolutely ABSOLUTELY NOT GUILTY. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON. I cant believe this. The media have created such hype about nothing. Absolute rubbish. Scolebutter and hogwash. What did he do wrong, bump someone in the chest who got up a second later. I am jumping out of my skin here. They hate us. This is it. That's all it is. It's open season on the champions.
Dale Thomas, hold your head up son. You done well.

Actually if you look at the side on vision, it's inconclusive because Fasolo is in the way when the supposed contact to the head is made. So no, it's not clear, although IMO it's fairly likely he did.Look at the first angle of the footage. Its very quick but a clear view, unlike the most-played footage where Ibbotson is blocking the point point of contact. With no impeded view its clear that Daisy made head-high contact.

I've looked at the real time bump at 7 seconds into the video frame by frame and the only thing clear about it is that it's inconclusive because it does not show contact was made to his head. His shoulder was at head level but I could not see any contact from his shoulder. Ibbottson turning his head at impact does not mean contact was made, and the only clear contact was Daisy's elbow and lower arm with his chest.Look at the first angle of the footage. Its very quick but a clear view, unlike the most-played footage where Ibbotson is blocking the point point of contact. With no impeded view its clear that Daisy made head-high contact.
Nick Lower was the culprit, got 4 weeks, with no record and an early plea he can walk away with 3.What happened with the Freo guy who bumped Daisy in the head? Was this looked at?
Oh for goodness sake. Jumping in the air on it's own doesn't mean a player is seriously injured and there isn't a rule against it. It takes head contact to cause "concussion related illness" so why on earth are you mentioning Scott Stevens? He has nothing to do with this incident considering Thomas did not make head contact.Yes he was concussed three times. Once in a marking contest against Freo, and the last two times at training, so I have no idea why this Bradesmaen is trying to link that to Dale Thomas. Extreme spin at it's best.
Again it's not clear. If he did make contact it was with his bicep, not his forearm or shoulder, which makes you think because it's his chest which is taking the force of the hit. Any contact to the heard would be very minor, and enough to be suspended for? I don't know. This is the clip from quarter time, clear contact with the head shown at 17 seconds.
