Which, with an early plea would be 319 and still 3 weeks!

So I'm hoping he's charged with striking, and not charging.

Also, slight mistake, if it were deemed intentional, he'd get 4, missing everything. But yeah, hopefully not the case.

Basically it's a toss up between Reckless/Negligent. Reckless gets him 3 weeks, Negligent gets him 2.

As for Freo, they confusing "having heart" with "cheap shots"? As mentioned it does happen occasionally, that Richmond game being a good example.

Dale Thomas getting suspended is a more important issue. You'd want as many looks at the incident as you could get in such a case.

Winner winner chicken dinner 2 week holiday for Daisy! Why you'd do that in the penultimate round is beyond me.

It will mean almost a month on the sidelines if we make it straight through to the Prelim (he won't play again until Sept 26th) and many will look to pin the blame on him if we get knocked off in the Quali.

Sorry, point made but a bit ambiguous. It doesn't matter. Striking brings 225, but rough conduct and charging both bring 325.

So if it's not striking, he's getting 325 points at that level offense.

Everything else is based off those categories, so if he gets put up and they decide he has a case to answer, they'll grade it using that system.

Impact is most likely Low/Medium based off no injury and he got up.
Conduct is at best Reckless, it's not Negligent.
Contact could go either way.

Mooney got 2 weeks down to 1 for his hit on Johncock a few weeks ago, that's about what I saw the Thomas hit in in terms of severity, as both players were uninjured by the hit, and the tribunal clearly takes that into account now.

Mooney amazingly had a clear record though, so he got off with one week, Daisy might not be so lucky.

225 medium impact + 68 carry over= 293 + 10% for 1 week suspension in last 12 months = 322 - 25% early plea = 2 weeks

Reckless contact/high contact/low impact= 2 weeks with early plea

Reckless contact/High contact/medium impact = (325 +68) +10% - 25% = 3 weeks. Worst case.

For his offence negligent, medium impact and high contact which he won't get. My personal thoughts are reckless, low or medium impact and high contact.

The one saving grace is Ibbotson got back up so they might lean towards low, but you never know.
