At least it was more of a solid, throwing your weight around type bump, not cheap and dirty like Lowers. Not that the MRP takes into account comparing different incidents.

3 down to 2 I reckon. Very silly.
Lower 4 weeks.
I think there was one other incident? Don't think a Collingwood player at fault though.

Didn't look good with him jumping in the air... But with the MRP I have basically given up trying to work out what may happen.. I wouldn't be surprised if he got 3 weeks.. Wouldn't be surprised if he isn't even sighted

Where are you getting 225 from? Reckless/High/Medium is Level 3, which translates to 325 points according to the table on their website.

Actually i meant the following...(had the 225 pts in my head)

Reckless, High contact, low impact level 2 and 225 pts.

If medium impact then ur right level 3 - 325 pts which would mean holiday for rest of season unless we got to GF. So reminds me of Phil Carmen 77 PF.

Was thinking body impact but when you read document further on it discusses body impact and high contact and says that MRP will treat it as high contact.

The MRP generally rule the impact based on the players, who is struck/charged/etc, resultant injury.

He got straight up just about. Low impact/medium at absolute worst.

Is it sad that you are SO right?

If you wanna see a disgusting bump look at what Lower did.

He lined Daisy up while he had his head over the ball.Remember Johnson doing the exact same thing and getting 6 weeks.Would be expecting Lower to get the exact same amount.Dog act by a dud player.

What a frickin imbecile. Why even do it?
Yep, why even attempt it?

Even Leigh Brown pulled out once tonight in a situation where he could have laid a significant hit, but you could see he was thinking "2 weeks till finals, I better not do it".

Just silly from Thomas, hopefully replays show there was no head contact, because from what 7 have shown us so far it's not exactly conclusive evidence of head high contact.

must be body contact, must be low impact, must be negligent

Try not to get your heart set on it being graded as body contact because you'll more than likely end up either disappointed or very shitty come Monday arvo! Whenever you leave the ground to lay a bump (like Thomas did) its unlikely to be graded as body contact.

Sorry guys but he is G.A.W.N. for two weeks at least.

Off the ground, contact to the head. Depends if they rely on the doctors report after the game to determine the contact reckless or negligent.

Won't be back til the Preliminary Final minimum.

Stupid stupid stupid.

If Beau Waters gets 0 weeks for concussing Jobe, then Daisy should be in the clear. At worst 1 week. The Dockers player got up and played on.

Guys wrote this in the main umps and MRP board - have had reasonable success predicting the MRP of late (I was bloody woeful last year mind you)

There was high contact - but whether the high contact to the head was forceful enough to be reportable is debateable.

If it is - he'll cop two weeks due to his carryover points and loading.

It will be reckless (due to him leaving the ground) and high contact - low impact makes it a level 2 rough conduct and 225 points.

Loaded to 247 plus 68 - down to 236 after a plea. He'd risk a third week by challenging as well

Ultimately it will come down to whether the high contact is forceful enough - for mine though there was high contact - but the majority of force went through the body and for mine should be ok
