Plays more like Lambert IMO.The new Shorty
This is it exactly Short replacement. If my glass is half full, Grlj , Burton combination could be handy off hb in a few years.

They watched our preseason effort and thought we were rucked anyway. Ruck or no ruck.So we trialled 2 rucks no good? While season starting and our 2 back ups are injured? Hope this guy is worth it.
Mate Dimma built a legacy by putting every player on the half back. If you cant play half back, you cant play.Happy to select him but only if we plan to develop him as a midfielder. We can jizz all we want over attacking half backs, but footy is won by a solid midfield.
I work in a field where I have to assess people's ability to perform in a high stress environment. My biggest personal metric is the ability and desire to improve always. I have lost faith in so many people who don't want to do growth work when winning or they just go 'woe is me' when it isnt working. That is one of these best reads. He has a mindset for growth. Looks like he is aiming to squeeze the absolute best out of himself, despite his lack of physical nature and abilities. Picking a Lambert type without waiting the extra years that Lambo did?
Wouldn't be surprised actually. Hopefully starts in the midfield in the VFL.He might get early games with Hotton out
just gotta limp thru to msd, i prefer this anyway, we can cast a wide net get the best performing young ruck in the country. So we trialled 2 rucks no good? While season starting and our 2 back ups are injured? Hope this guy is worth it.
Was Ryan a standout state league ruck the year we drafted himjust gotta limp thru to msd, i prefer this anyway, we can cast a wide net get the best performing young ruck in the country.
might even end up with kraz but atleast well have half a season of vfl form to make the call on instead of a couple weeks of training. Was Ryan a standout state league ruck the year we drafted him
if he was… **** that
Kras has signed with Casey. If he's any good you'd think the Dees would jump at the chance to take him given Gawn is nearly done. I'm sure we'll keep an eye on him.might even end up with kraz but atleast well have half a season of vfl form to make the call on instead of a couple weeks of training.
Nah he wasnt, he was mostly potential at that point and his early VFL form looked super promising with us, I genuinely think he has gone backwards. Was Ryan a standout state league ruck the year we drafted him

What do you classify as young re ruckman?just gotta limp thru to msd, i prefer this anyway, we can cast a wide net get the best performing young ruck in the country.
ideally a ruckman that’s young enough to fit our list profile but past the gangly teenager stage and can be competitive against seasoned bodies. So we’re not carrying them for 4 years but they’ll peak when the rest of the list does. What do you classify as young re ruckman?
Dowling and Kras are both teens but you look at ruckman at other clubs that are starting to show a bit and you’ve got
McAndrew at the Crows 25,
Blackiston at Bumbers, 27,
Vislentini at Port, 24,
Madden at GWS, 23
Reeves who is the Hawks backup is 27.
It’s a lottery trying to find them in their teens, early 20s particularly in a msd. Probably better we just go the best performed ruckman if we do have a msd pick.
His circle ruck work is still very good imo, and even on the deck I rate himNah he wasnt, he was mostly potential at that point and his early VFL form looked super promising with us, I genuinely think he has gone backwards.
you could tell the direction in the afl became dont bother trying to mark it just be a backboard and deflect it to our smalls. he was literally just standing there with arms straight up most of the time. His circle ruck work is still very good imo, and even on the deck I rate him
But it’s his ability to either go forward or back when his opponents drag him to either end that really lets him down
Still struggles to mark
Or maybe those rucks were not yet ready tk make an impact at this level. So we trialled 2 rucks no good? While season starting and our 2 back ups are injured? Hope this guy is worth it.
They weren't supposed to they are kids. You develop them unlike Ryan which was a bust from start but keep rewarding him.Or maybe those rucks were not yet ready tk make an impact at this level.
No and at the time we got him it was just on potential cause of his size a real masterstroke that turned out.Was Ryan a standout state league ruck the year we drafted him
if he was… **** that
