Its really two different players

Thomas is skillful talented but soft weak and lacks hard work

Murphy has very poor skills, not that much talent at all but is a hard worker.

Most prefer to take the guy with more talent which is why in the end Thomas wins hands down. Clearly the more talented of the two.

I'm detecting a little talent envy. Murph totally destroyed the Juddless 2nd tier Weagles midfield at Subi despite close attention from your midfield taggers. Kinda hurts doesn't it. He did OK against your Freagle B team as well. He must like Subi. :)

Not necessarily. I think Eagles lack of respect for Murphy showed during that game. The fact he was able to rack up possessions yet do very little with them proved what I knew all along. He has little to no skills. Very good at the floater and the long bomb in the air to the middle of nowhere. Carlton made a mistake in drafting a AFL ready player rather then one with talent and skill. In 5 years time they will realise the mistakes but its too late by then :)

Um.. that's why they put their #1 tagger Stenglein on Murph from the opening bounce. You really have little idea. Here's a tip: go watch some footy matches and get back to us. You really are the stereotypical "franchise supporter". Huge laughes. :)

Murphy is great, he's like a smaller version of Brock McLean, with a worse kick - but that still means he's going to be a good player.

Thomas could be anything, but Murphy WILL be.

Was a pretty weak draft that year come to think of it, am more than happy with Nathan Jones looking back.

Did you also notice how Murphys effectiveness gradually declined as the game progressed? Might be because hes a first year or it could also be that Steignlein played alot closer (hence more effective) as the game was on the line.

Here's a tip: stop being the laughing stock and butt of all jokes and then get back to us. You sound like someone whose jumpped ship (with many others mind you). Ridiculously Big Laughs. :D
