Don't know if anyone has bought this up, but man, I just want to ask how an respectable businessman thinks that dressing up as an fairy, running around naked etc with his wife would help improve sales ?
Those ads have been going on for a few years now and is it just me but they seem to be getting more childish and annoying every year. I feel sorry for their kids. How much crap would they be getting at school if everyone knew you had those morons as parents.
I've never met anyone who has liked those ads.
It is just pitiful

LOL! Those ads are classic. Although I took a strange liking to the radio ads, it kinda runined it all for me when I actually saw them on TV

Watch out for the wombat out the front....

My first thought when I saw them the first time was: how tacky. I mentioned it to my aunt, who runs a nursery, and she explained just how successful they are now. You're spot on NMWBloods. I imagine they're laughing all the way to the bank.

Why should people who act like total fools be successful (finacially) if that is true that most gardeners are $#^$% in the head and/or senile old pensioners.

i guess it's just an attention seeking mechanism to grab the audience - and even if its talked about because of its stupidity - at least it's being talked about.

The radio ads were bad enough, the TV ads are just pathetic.

I mean yes, people DO talk about them and obviously the ads must be working, but I personally would make sure I never ever went there! :D

a) I think they did these particular ads after they became so big? Not sure though. The ads may be stupid and annoying, but they've worked hard and have been rewarded for it.

b) Gardeners as "f***ed in the head" or "senile old pensioners" may be the stereotype, but from experience I can tell you it isn't all that true, or at least not where I've worked.
