hey guys!!
I heard that the game will be shown at Kardinia Park.
But I want to see the presentation at Federation Square if we win.
So I want to watch the game somewhere in Melbourne with other supportes who will miss out the game.
Do you guys know where people plan to watch in Melbourne?;)

Go to Skilled, watch the game with another 15,000 Cats fans on the big screen, then drive or catch a train to Melb to be at Fed Sq for the player presentation. :thumbsu:

I want to but then my trip will be

Melbourne (home) - Geelong (watch)- Melbourne (the presentation)- Geelong(family day)- Melbourne (home).

is that enough explanation why I want to watch the game in Melbourne?:D

Skilled to watch the GF?

Hey guys, I was wondering if the footy club was doing anything at the ground for us fans to be together and watch it, like on the scoreboard or something?

I think it would be insane for us all to be able to watch it at SS and hopefully wait around to welcome back the premiership hero's.

Fair enough.

Fed Sq might actually show the GF, so you can watch the GF on the big screen, celebrate at one of the nearby bars and get a prime spot for the presentation!

Yes.

There are plans for a party at Skilled Stadium (my guess is a large screen will be erected on the surface) that runs from 12pm - 8pm.

Apparently it will be like a normal game, food outlets will be open to purchase food. I'd imagine a good 15,000 down there for the game!

yes you are correct - i rang club cats today to see what functions etc would be available on grand final day, so we could head down there to be with other fans (yes i am a richmond fan but do love the cats, as my son wanted to barrack for cats as a little tacker, i took him to as many games as i could when he was young, so whilst he is at the actual game - i'll be watching and singing the club song loud and proud when they win too).

They told me that the ground will be open - FREE entry. Bring a picnic rug etc and make yourself comfortable.

Two large screens showing the game and K-Rock will be there as well.

As mentioned, all food/drink outlets will be open - therefore you cannot take your own. But that is okay )

cya there!!! goooo cats!!

I've heard that that the players will be staying the night in Melbourne - can anyone confirm?

They often have it at Punt Rd. Friends of mine watched it there & said it was all right. You can drink at the pub with people going to the game. And can hear the roar of the crowd.

Then again, if I couldn't be at the game I'd not want to be so close to everything. It would be murder thinking you could have been that extra 200m away inside the ground.:thumbsdown:
