Thoughts on Reid

I don't know if it's just me, or if you all think Reid is a possibility to be TRADED.

I know I wasn't saying he should be traded, however, GWS can still target uncontracted players this year. That is what peopleare trying to say.

I wouldn't under any circumstance put Reid on the trade table, but we know GWS can offer any uncontracted player anything, so really who knows.

Fair enough so who replaces Cloke when we lose him because we can't afford to pay him and your prediction for where we would finish with Reid in our team and without Cloke in our team ????

i thought this was about reid but anyway we wont lose either, cloke isnt in best form so holding out contract talks might not work for him as well as he thought....

Reid/Brown the future of the Collingwood bvackline for years to come. An awesome combination @ that. Browns injuries are far more significant then Reids but both should stay

So if we are going to lose Tarrant and have no clue about Browns future.....you suggest we get rid of our AA defender simply because Keeffe has played two good games?

Not sure i get your line of argument. Keeffe was apparently the worst player on the planet just a month ago. Hartley has played.....let me check.....yes, zero games.

And back to my first post....how does trading Reid guarantee that we keep Cloke?

I probably should have mentioned getting good picks for Reid which could have been used on good kids, or trading.

I'd prefer to keep Reid obviously, but he is very injury prone.

But you just don't let AA CHB go just because you want good draft picks

Just like when a young Judd had terrible shoulders and was never going to get past that.

Reid may be injury prone but anyone on here saying trade him is on crack, like it was previously stated, find me another CHB as young as him that has been AA.

Would easily have him in our top 5 most important.

Are gws even after Reid? I could be wrong but doesn't Phil Davis play chb for them.

Imo we will keep Reid and cloke and as mentioned some of the fringe players will have to make way. I would let all of wellingham, obrien, goldsack, caff and maybe even krak go before Reid or cloke. The names i mentioned are all depth/role players and a lot easier to replace than kpp's
