Request thread ban notification

I appear to have a thread ban on the feminism thread on srp for some obscure reason. Do mods no longer give notifications?

Presumably the ban was handed out by a mod who was getting touchy over being ridiculed by others, however, I believed in the past it was policy to send a pm, does this no longer apply?
