This is the issue I have with it. Seems like we can give it out (119, tarps etc) but when it's our turn we go all pussy. Oh well, decision has been made.

You mean - we as in us. You and your 169 posts in just under 3 years doesn't really constitute you as an us.
Except the threads that will be designated Crows Only won't be ones where we can abuse Port without any repercussions. They'll be threads that specifically affect the club like another Tippett Saga or One of our players gets suspended. So it won't be necessary to troll Port because we shouldn't be talking about them in the thread any way.

Perhaps they support a robust discussion board in which topics can be discussed on their merits?
This is not a road I want our board to go down. Is it a large leap to suggest that soon we should have only 'positive poster only' threads, after all, only a few out of a thousand won't hurt?

The good old "slippery slope" argument
I can see the merit of having Crows Only threads on a subforum for Crows supporters. I don't think the "positive poster only" concept will ever be something that happens.
Mostly I'm just concerned about the Crows Only tag being used too often. As long as it's reserved for the rare situations where it's merited, I'm okay with it.

I don't care either way. It does get worse with blatant power trolls in touchy discussions that doesn't concern them. There is an etiquette when posting on other people's boards isn't there?

I understand your concern.
All I can say is all current 3 moderators, and all ex-mods as well I might add, did not personally like the concept.
However, I think it can be used fairly safely for particularly sensitive topics with minimal risk. Those who really want it now have a trial period to give it a go.
Those who want robust discussion will have it in spades in all the regular threads.
Those who want to hide in a 'crows only' thread and make sniping remarks will find themselves dealt with pretty quickly. I might even add something to the rules about that - we'll see. I have no issue nuking someone with infractions for setting up a 'crows only' thread and then using it to talk about other team supporters for instance.
I guess I'm asking you to have faith in those of us moderating - we're fairly aligned to your thinking anyway.
