As for a hotel room it depends on your own living arrangements. There's things to consider like "memories of what happened" etc tainting the room itself if anyone has a personality that could head that way.

But to be brutally honest, once you've found someone who's happy to do it just agree for a time to meet up and try to make it as spontaneous as possible. The more planning you put into it the more expectation will be there for things to play out in a certain way - and if it doesn't, it might make it a shit and awkward experience.
