When you create a mini game in your game and it becomes more popular than the actual game so you decide to make a stand-alone mini game only to turn it into its own full game.

The new Gwent inspired RPG from CDPR is out now on PC from GOG and December 4 on consoles. According to CDPR it is about 30 hours long and an RPG first, card game second.

I’m assuming this is on sale on all platforms at the moment. I’ve sunk about 10 hours in and it’s brilliant. The puzzle battles are my favourite as I suck at deck building although I’m getting better. My only beef is that I can’t save custom decks. I just spent a while on the manticore boss fight because I had to keep reloading to tweak my deck. After I finished it I had to go through and try and remember how my deck was previously. What I love most is how the entire game can be played with the mouse. It’s quite relaxing just sitting back.
