Have rolling byes for two teams each week, ensure one of those teams are half decent (or if not, two of the teams who played thursday/friday the week before are), and you have no issues with 5 day breaks. We either gotta commit to having every game at Saturday 2pm, or having no overlap between games. Having a weekly Thursday night games helps that.

Either Double Headers on Friday Nights and Sunday night game out of WA, SA, or Qld in next TV rights.
The only time you play a Thursday night game if it's Easter time/School Holidays at the MCG/Interstate or in June School Holidays at Marvel/Interstate.

Don’t like it. Last Thursday I caught the GA2 bus (running in place of the Gawler rail services) straight after the game, took about 90 minutes to get to Elizabeth. Honestly who’s stupid idea was it to have Thursday night games in winter? Remember us only getting about 26k in 2017 or 18 to one, was hoping that would’ve sent a message to the afl

Works better in Adelaide and Perth as they are more accessible stadiums and cities. Victorian crowds these days are like Orchids, they need optimal conditions.
Perth has the issue of timezone. Tv would like it 7/730 but can’t be earlier than 810 est if from perth.

This is probably just ignorance on your part but the MCG and Docklands are two of the easiest stadiums to get to in the world, so many PT connections and both within walking distance of or in the CBD. Bizarre comment.

Been to both quite a few times. The under rated Docklands, you are right, it is serviced well but most Victorians seem to hate the place for some inexplicable reason.

The over rated MCG is a fair walk from the CBD, generally has gridlock around the ground, and has a shitty train station servicing it.

Docklands and the MCG are both rated where they should be. MCG is daylight above any other stadium, and Docklands is daylight below any other stadium.
