I see yellow on wing, green in pocket and dark green behind goals. All level 1. Maybe they are colour based on location

Yep.
If you hover over the sections you will see for the light green bay there will only be a few tickets available but for the dark green it will say there are 10 which is the most you can buy in one hit. If you hover over the yellow bay you sill see on the right it highlights the dry bay details.
Just noticed they want $59 for a seat behind the goals tonight on level 1 and $79 in the pocket, lol. MCG website is indicating truckloads of GA on level 4 which will cost $25 at the gate, even a few bays of GA on level 1.

Ticketek isn't. Only seats remaining are Level 1 wing, Level 1 goals or the dry bay. Level 4, Level 4 Front and GA totally sold out.
They don't put all bays up for sale on Ticketek, lots of sections are held back for GA and show as unavailable on Ticketek. MCG website is normally pretty accurate.

I know for a fact that a heap of those GA (top of the Olympic and some of the Ponsford) were on sale weeks ago. They have to leave room for GA members, but there isn't going to be much.
I won't be surprised if its similar to last year.
I just go off the MCG website which is normally pretty accurate.
Below is from their website. Sometimes there are a few late changes if there is more demand for reserved seats in the lead up to start time.

How about light blue level 2? I assume it’s light blue because there’s only one bay available

I think each different price level has a different colour.
Just a way of differentiating between seats on the screen.
Those MCG General Admission areas confirmed in MCG twitter account 3 hours ago.
If you rock up early you'll get a half decent seat for $25 GA price.
