Not that strange if you don't want to sit through 4Qs of 'OI OI OI's'.

Last week was the first time I'd sat withing ear (embarrassment) shot of them. Wow they're bad. I mean, I respect their enthusiasm, but surely they can be a little more creative.

The weird thing is, that it's blatantly obvious that most other supporters in their vicinity are cringing and trying not to make eye contact, while they seem not to care. Now THAT is strange.
I'll be sitting behind them this week, really looking forward to that. The St Kilda cheersquad have stolen that chant as well, so this match is going to be REALLY enjoyable.

Enjoying Demonoid?

Whether they are an embarrassment or un original, they do more for the football club than 50 posters on here.

The amount of time they give up to run the CS is amazing and shows the passion that they have for the club and it's players.

I agree that some of the stuff is bad, but who are we to criticize? It is easy saying that it is shit and needs to be redone. But we aren't the ones giving our time to the club, and in reality they are probably more passionate about the club then us.

I think the MCC have it as 84,000 from memory. A crowd that big would surprise me.

That's a lot but we had 77,000 against North last year and St Kilda have much better support (or they are much better at turning up) than the Roos. Definitely over 80,000 I think which is massive.

i agree, heres a post id done a month ago, and stick by it for originality...

"
speaking of cheering, i came up with a drunken cheer last night, to the tune of We are Australian..

something like this in an english drunken chant style, feel free to use it at games. try and get it popular so when i come over for the finals i wont be the only one chanting it.....

We're number one, but so is Jimmy
down at geelong, where we come froomm
we share a dream and sing with one voice
i am, you are, we aarreeee geeeellooonnggggg

my neighbours locked their doors and closed their windows after my display. "

shit it might be lame, but its gotta be a step forward from that "clap clap clap" shit.

Here we go just did a best available at Ticketmaster website and its now offering N51 (Level 2 about 60 metres out)

These tickets weren't available before. Im sure a lot of you that booked tickets earlier would have liked these tickets to be available at the time of your booking.

No it was for 4 seats! Amazing how these seats "appear" days after they went on sale.

Indeed. I wonder, since the members tickets go on sale first and they have allocated bays for each club, that other bays are left allocated for non-members?

I noticed this myself earlier today when i had a look for some tickets for some friends.

Heaps of Level 2 available, and a ****ing disgrace by Ticketmaster to release these 3 days after they went on sale to the members.

Members should have had first crack at the best seats available.

Makes you feel for all the members who lined up outside Myer 2 days before they went on sale only to get inferior seats.

An absolute ****ing joke

This is crap!!!! I've just done a check for the AFL members reserve for three seats and they are offering N18, Row C (right on the wing!!!) When I booked my seats at 9.00am Tuesday morning when they went on sale the best was N26.......

BTW the reason I can check is I have a mate who is an AFL member who's not going.

Damn that is annoying.
I got on at 9.01 and was after level 2 seats. There was absolutely nothing available.

They sell the worst seats online first; it starts in the pockets on L1 and gradually works it's way, bay by bay, to the wing... corporate packages that aren't sold are then released within the next few days so L2 seats become available to the public. It's a shity system.

Who says they are the worst seats? I may be in the minority, but I've always preferred watching the game from behind the goals, or somewhere in the 50M arc. They have to start selling the seats somewhere.

(Lol, never thought i would see the day where I was defending Ticketmaster, but there you go...)
