So I’m a north member who lives in Adelaide. Pay over $350 a year for my membership and most years attend one or two games.

Was keen to head along Friday and usually get an email to purchase before the game. This year no email.

I emailed the club this morning with my disappointment at this and how I feel we are treated as just money for the club. What I got is response was an email that was obviously meant to be sent weeks ago saying I can purchase tickets between April 9 and April 11. Logged in to my account hoping I could still organise tickets, but no I have missed the cut off.

That's very poor and a representation of where we're at as a club unfortunately. Apart from being in a reasonably stable financial position, we're absolute rubbish on the field and treat our members like crap.

You really should take it further and cause a stink. Make them get you the tickets you require and some. That is bullsh*t

By the way the reply email was just a generic reply, nothing personalised.

Club can GAGF.
I purchased 6 Schimma Platinum reserved seat memberships last November and I'm still yet to receive 5 of them.

Nothing surprises me on the membership front this season.

That is absolutely beyond deplorable. Customer service can’t get any worse than that.
I’m not sure but they may have even broken consumer law here??
They have become like a lot of large organisations in that they have almost no regard for guaranteed or expected revenue, only new revenue. But they have gotten it so wrong that this revenue may not be so guaranteed next year.
Shame Ben wasn’t also asked about this disgrace on SEN this morning

Apparently the club has a new membership database and when duplicating the accounts for existing members there has been an error and members arent receiving any correspondence as emails on system have been erased or are missing altogether.

Membership seems to be lurching from disaster too disaster. Everyone makes mistakes but I judge an organisation by how they handle their mistakes. Have done some public speaking in my time on customer service - mistakes present a real opportunity to engage at a level with the customer that can help you improve the relationship. Right now it seems our club is doing the opposite.

My credit card for my rollover payment expired in the summer so obviously my membership didn’t renew automatically this year.
The website was busted and wouldn’t let me add a new card.
Requested a call back multiple times but didn’t get one.
I eventually got around to ringing and paying by phone.
Dragged on for about 6 weeks but it was like I had to chase the club down to take my money.

Posted a whinge on the membership thread probably back in Feb.

And yeah, Scottroo that sucks a big one. The one game you would have looked forward to all season and it’s ****** for 2019.
The garbage response was the salt too.

We need every member we can get too.
