I may be in Adelaide at the same time that Freo thump the Crows.

What I need to know is if the Adelaide games are always complete sellouts or if it is possible to get tickets and if it is does anyone know roughly when they go on sale?

So your not coming to Adelaide for another 50 years then ... when Freo have their 1st victory over the Crows @ FP;) :p

If you are a Freo supporter, you are probably best getting the tickets through your club, as they are allocated a certain number. Alernatively, now that we have extended capacity @ FP, there are now more day tickets available which go on sale at BASS before the game.

Actually, general admission tickets go on sale in Adelaide on the Tuesday two weeks before a game, isn't that right?

This year there are going to be a few thousand more of these general admission tickets available than there have been in the past, due to the expansion of the stand.

It always used to be the case that if you wanted four or more seats together in general admission area, you would have to get in within the first hour or so on that Tuesday morning. If you only wanted two tickets, you could leave it for perhaps a day or two. If you only wanted the one ticket, you might even be able to get one on the day of the match.

However, there are a certain number allocated to the visiting club - so the best source of FP tickets for a visiting Freo fan would be the Freo footy club. Virtually guaranteed a seat if you get them from there.

So, as to when you should actually apply for the tickets, I can't answer - I can't see any game for perhaps the next ten years or so when Freo could possibly thump Crows at footy park. Certainly there is no such game scheduled for this year!

Thump us all you like Balip as long as you dont beat us.
Id say Freo/Adel matches are starting to form tradition a bit...

If Adelaide arent cranked about thier loss on your dungheap last year Id be amazed. Hopefully Schelly will turn it on for them Crowzz

THanks for that info Guys.

Topjars if Adelaide have to rely on Schell to beat us we wont win we will absolutely aniallate you. The guy can take a good mark but he seriously cant kick. IT will be good if he goes on to better things because at the moment he is another one of those Freo players with "potential".

Don't worry about it Balip. As far as I can tell at the moment these are the tall players, in order of selection chances, who are going for a "can take a mark" type of spot in Adelaides forward line:

Stevens, Fitzgerald, Perrie, Hewitt, McGregor, Hentschell, Schell.

Shorter ones include Burton & Welsh, both of whom would be selected before McGregor.

Two or maybe three of the tall forward candidates might get a spot at any given game, and another one in the backlines.

At the moment it would be Stevens, Fitzgerald & Perrie. Schell would need at least two, maybe three to be injured before being considered.

But I note in passing that Schell was good enough to get games at Freo. Make of that what you will ... but I would go quietly on the "thumping" claims if I were you.
