Well haven't the AFL just come out and made an absolute mockery of everything once again!!!!

I just found out that the game is at the Telstra Dome! I believe that our home ground is the MCG and you better believe that we will sell out the game. 55,000 capacity, we should fill that after all it is finals time. I am absolutely outragged that we don't get the chance to play at home on what will be a gorgeous Saturday afternoon- nothing better than being at the G.

Well at least they have the Locker Room so I can get absolutely poo faced for my birthday!!

GO HAWKS!!!! (boo AFL)

The AFL are an absolute disgrace ... Seriously Gary is right, we need a supporters union. They are so incompetent, it is an outrage ...

Ah yes, the AFL

Just spoke to the national ticketing manager of the AFL

They are aware of this. Her response was the following

This loophole only occurs if you buy 'family tickets' (which of course, anyone can nominate to buy)
They feel it is a big ground and no HFC member will miss out
Too hard to use bar code access when buying family tickets
She felt that kids tickets were 'free anyway' (I certainly paid for them) and that there are no bar codes on kids membership tickets (all 3 of my kids have barcodes)
They dont see a problem with this

I cant believe this personally. Scalpers therefore have free access to the tickets, they are not printed as a single family ticket, so any punter can buy them and then sell them individually. As for their being enough room for all HFC supporters, perhaps they have forgotten that we filled the ground twice this year in the H and away matches, and broke the ground record.

So, there you have it. Free access to anyone from 9 am, provided they say there are part of a family. And the AFL doesnt mind.

God knows why I bought all these memberships this year

Lyndhurst what is the name of the woman you spoke to, and what is her exact title? I think it is time people started to become a little more accountible for their actions ...

Sandra someone, I think she said Marsden

If you ring through the AFL central number, and report the problem they will put you through to her, there are 2 female names that they gave me, Sandra gave the title of national ticketing manager of the AFL.

Hi all,

Sorry to be pushy, but could someone let me know if these are good seats ..

Level 1, Aisle 38, Row R.

I'm worried that it's too far back. I've never sat on L1 before, so any advice appreciated.

Yeah i am interested too, myself and a mate are L1 Aisle 39 Row F, how far back are we???

You don't even need to be part of a family. You can just book adult tickets if you want.

This is a disgrace, you certainly wouldn't want it to be this way if it was a grand final.

For a club with 31,000+ ticketed members, we really get treated like shit don't we?

Row F sounds a lot better than Row R!! :p

I'm guessing you are 6 rows from the fence. And I am *counts on fingers* .. ..... ahah ... 18 rows back :(

Does anyone know how many rows there are on Level 1?

Queued up at AFL World this morning, so I've bagged a couple of tickets. My membership and my wife's membership were both checked.

It does sound a little odd that the AFL, who have been so publicly outraged over ticket scalping, will let tickets to be scalped so easily from Hawthorn's allocation.

It's a disgrace. Seriously, scalpers are probably already all over this. Check ebay in a few. I can't believe how unprofessional this whole setup is.

Tell me the privileges of having a membership again? ... I didn't even get my 8 years scarf this year! (of course I will renew every year though! :P)

The Ticketmaster access problem was very strange - I tried the family ticket option when the individual membership sales were so slow at 9am. Eventually got 4 in row G on level 1 so was rapt; but also disappointed there was this flaw in the system. Here's hoping the AFL fix this loophole before next week !

But the good thing is Pottsie, you are still on level 1 and have a number of rows behind you so you cannot be that far back from the fence/action. All rows on level 1 look pretty close to the action on the TV, not that this counts for much!

I Sat Isle 31 and row N (think it goes to up S or T) B4, which I felt were great viewing!!:D

Isles 37, 38, 39 are further around wing.:) A is closest to fence.

I am 37 E YIPPEE!!:thumbsu::thumbsu:

BLOODY AFL GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!!:mad:

For the people that got Row F, what time did u call/get tickets or whatever.

Do they keep better seats for the people that go 2 ticketmaster? Because me and mates got their at about 9 and there was a 2 hour line. So got to the front at about 10:50-11, was expecting level 3 or Row Z level one and got Level One Row C, Aisle 43. Its not a bad area, about the forward flank.

Saw some ppl here that posted at about 10 saying they got Row F??

The usual ticketmaster random scatter. I was on the web site at 9 am sharp, got row L in sect 40

When all this drama about the ticketing came to light, I reapplied one hour later, about 10am, to see what happened, and was issued row C in sect 39... go figure.

Similar thing happened to me, I had Aisle 37 Level 3 row w, waited a couple of minutes and went back into it and then had I got row k in aisle 37!?! Ticketmaster is so shoddy!!

And the AFL can go fudge itself too, I cant believe it's not at the MCG. There would be no problems with tickets, it is our home ground, and one of the greatest sporting venues in the world. God I hate the AFL sometimes.

F*ck.

Anywhere on level one is pretty decent, and 6 rows back is pretty close, good tickets, but still, youd hope theyd give ya the best seats available at the time...

Got my ticket this morning.

I've no idea what the TD's seating is like, so i went for Prime seating on level 3. Hope that's decent. Got Aisle 37, Row U. Any good?

First time i've been to the Dome in years.

Now i just got to work out how to do this print it yourself ticket, and i'm in business :)

Anyone fill me in as to which side of the ground is always looking into the sunshine? I have seats in Aisle 39, will i need to bring my sunnies???

Dude level 3 sucks. If you can afford it buy some level 1 tickets and sell those ones you have on eBay... Sorry to be frank, but we haven't been in finals for a while and level 3 at the Dome is a joke. Level 1 however (and level 2) are amazing.
