Hopefully not as Im just going to rock up on the night and buy a General admin ticket
from what i gather from the previous posts, it seems that GA is now "sold out" so that the club members can get in.

i bought two earlier in the week but my mate (saints fan) has bailed, so as i said i might have a spare GA at cost price to sell; just gonna ask around if anyone else wants to come before i offer it up.

The turnout from Medallion Club will also have a huge impact on numbers. Not sure how many seats they have, is it 5k?

Anyway as huge as this game is, it's not so big that every Medallion Club seatholder is gonna turn up. That's where the difference between 46-48k and 50k+ is.

Not sure how many, and would love to know, but there's been very few 50k+ games at the Dome, I think?

. I hope so but I doubt it. That game was sold out weeks in advance. I remember people scalping tickets to that game for around 3-4 times the face value.

I was at that game and it was still the best H&A game I've watched live. I hope this game isn't nearly that close!
That game was amazing and the atmosphere was just extraordinary, with the roof keeping all of it in.

Our game against Brisbane in 2004 was similar, when we'd won 9 in a row to start the year (after also winning the NAB Cup) and they were coming off the 3 flags and were still kicking ass.

With the roof keeping the atmosphere in and both games going down to the last minute, they could have had the best atmosphere of any games I've ever been to and I've been to the 1997 and 2010 (replay) GF's, five prelims and numerous other finals.

You probably have to get at least 80,000 at the 'G to match the atmosphere at Etihad when the roof is closed, there are 50K+ there and it's a very close game. And even then it might not quite match it. Tomorrow night ought to go off! :thumbsu:

That was the "point-gate" game yeah? great game.

50k game at Etihad is about as rare as an 80k plus game, though I don't think this game will get there. IMO every game at Etihad that I've been to has a good atmosphere, very little shit seats in GA as well.

I bit the bullet and bought a Standing room seat. getting there early so hopefully I can get a seat anyway....

I don't begrudge the Saints a home game at their home ground, but it seems farcical that Collingwood are playing the Suns at the G.

Just remember that we always play essendon at the mcg every time, even though they play better at etihad. Swings and roundabouts. The richmond fc can't just demand no games at etihad merely because we suck there and will out draw there. Even collingwood play there a Couple of times a year.

So apparently all general admin. tickets are completely sold out. Only standing room left.

Just for one of you to confirm for the umpteenth time, my 16 game membership will allow me into the stadium (even if it is sold out), yet I can only stand?

Cheers

Yep, get there early before GA seats fill up. The earlier you get to the ground, the more chance you will get a better seat/a seat at all.
