It's Time!
I reckon a touch above 45k will be there. The hype for the Dreamtime game was enormous and only 80k attended.

Does this mean that GA is sold out, and they are down to Standing room only? As I understand it my AFL membership will get me into GA, but need another GA ticket.....hmm..

I reckon 6.30 at the latest, i'll be there when the gates open at 5.45, got my radio, remember foods not served til 6.30 or something.
That game was amazing and the atmosphere was just extraordinary, with the roof keeping all of it in.. I hope so but I doubt it. That game was sold out weeks in advance. I remember people scalping tickets to that game for around 3-4 times the face value.
I was at that game and it was still the best H&A game I've watched live. I hope this game isn't nearly that close!

Our game against Brisbane in 2004 was similar, when we'd won 9 in a row to start the year (after also winning the NAB Cup) and they were coming off the 3 flags and were still kicking ass.
You probably have to get at least 80,000 at the 'G to match the atmosphere at Etihad when the roof is closed, there are 50K+ there and it's a very close game. And even then it might not quite match it. Tomorrow night ought to go off!![]()
I begrudge 'em. They've had 18 home games of the last 23 we've played them.I don't begrudge the Saints a home game at their home ground, but it seems farcical that Collingwood are playing the Suns at the G.
Serious? 18 out of 23? Screw em then.I begrudge 'em. They've had 18 home games of the last 23 we've played them.
Essendon (home ground Etihad) v Melbourne at the G is another stupid one.

can't get tickets, guess i'll have to sit this one out and go next week
You can call them tomorrow and then pick them up at the venue.. Or you could just get GA at the venue?
reckon level 1 seating will be available? i'm no good with sitting on level 3 because i have really inconsistent eyesight
Time for the AFL to have its own online ticket 'agent'. Ticketmaster is an absolute farce.
So apparently all general admin. tickets are completely sold out. Only standing room left.
Just for one of you to confirm for the umpteenth time, my 16 game membership will allow me into the stadium (even if it is sold out), yet I can only stand?
Cheers
