In case you weren't aware the great man Tiger Woods wears the Bomber colours on the last day of every big tournament, to bring him good luck.

Well it's worked so far, the first man since Ben Hogan to get the Grand Slam minus one in a single year. Sounds a bit like the Bombers year and when we go on to win the big one (so sue me if I'm getting cocky, I've got more right than Roo fans to start spruiking) we'll have to get him over to Windy Hill and do one of those celebrity jumper presentations. Now that would be something, Sheeds and Tiger could compare notes. If he sees Hirdy he'll say, "Shit, Ernie Els has lost weight".

its almost unimaginable but ive found myself actually taking an interest in golf since the Tiger phenomenon began.
I watched some of the Brit open and watched about 7 blokes all stuff up on the same hole in the same way- before Tiger waltzes up and nails an iron within about 4 feet of the pin.
amazing stuff.
Lets hope the bombers can withstand the pressure of going down to the wire in a similiar fashion.

Difference between tiger and the dons is that the dons are a one year thing tigers is gonna be whooping ass for ever.

Seriously though i like golf im a huge Greg Norman fan but Tiger Woods is just absolutly unbelievable this guy is so good its hard to think he human. Hes reminds me of another guy you might know of him....one michael jordan. They just dominate there sport.

I have an idea though im going to take up Golf and have a nickname concerning some kind of animal. Think about it -

Tiger Woods - Tiger
Greg Norman - The great white Shark
Jack Nicklaus - Golden Bear

I think im on to something heheheh

My favourite golfer is Ricky Ponting. He has a low single-figure handicap and recently beat Aaron Baddeley (sp) in an informal competition, hitting one tee shot 20 metres further than Baddeley, according to a report.

Unfortunately, Ponting won $5000 off Kerry Packer, breaching amateur rules, and may lose his amateur status because of it.
