I might be an old campaigner at 32 but in cricket I was always brought up to:
-Shake opposition players hands regardless.
-Applaud a ton from the opposition despite any banter/sledging that has occurred previously.

The poms think they're so high and mighty but really they are just a disgrace. Half your teams not even from england, you cheat most games with a specialist 12th man fielder and you've got a violent criminal playing for you. Can't wait for them to come out here. Going to give them hell.

It's funny, SEN drive program yesterday were speaking with former English paceman Angus Fraser and when he was asked about what the crowd would do in relation to the returning 3 he simply said that some of their own have done things far worse off the pitch like Ben Stokes who never got sanctioned. He said they've copped their punishment, served their time, now move on and play cricket.

Well done to Smith great innings

He’s certainly got a technique that is unique and won’t be found in any coaching manual but he watches the ball onto the bat and plays as late as possible.

Love some of those exaggerated moves after he’s left a delivery. Tourette’s like!!!

smith will be captain again come the summer if we get smashed and paine doesnt hit a score atleast twice.

Also how bad was the umpiring, i watched a supercut of like 12 or so decisions that were wrong either called not out when out or out when not out.

They have short memories as well.
What’s different between sandpaper and using mints to alter the bowl?

Warner should've been out first ball, wasn't, then was given out when the ball was missing and that was just in the first four overs, all the good umpires are either Aussie or English so we're left with the rest.
Steve Smith is a bloody good cricketer though, shame the rest of the team are a bunch of plodders.

do the pommies realise every country has ball tampered multiple times including their own lol, and they only got a couple matches off because their boards are wimps
Or our board handed out a ridiculously excessive penalty. Still haven't forgiven the suits for robbing Smith of a year of his cricketing life.

Well done Smith obvioulsy, just awesome.

Not sure how Bancroft managed to get selected in this side, other than being from WA or on some sort of promise from CA arising from the ball tampering issue I cant see how he leapfrogged Harris and Burns, seems a very odd selection.

Also, given we are playing Wade, it again seems strange that Paine is in as effectively just a captain and ordinary batsmen. His glovework is no better than Wades, we are effectively playing someone who will average high 20's with the bat. Difficult to drop the captain I know but surely you have to carry your weight as a player first and foremost.

i assume its because the only person they would appoint captain at the moment is smith.

I actually have no idea whom the current vice captain of australia is, Carey was during the world cup but he didnt make the squad.
