great to see stkilda have a rare win at the MCG. They played MCG well this year i think was time they won one at the MCG at richmonds expense

A decision that the club made to keep itself alive. Meanwhile the likes of StKilda shoot themselves in the foot year in, year out only to receive millions more in equalisation distributions.

You commented that both Richmond and St Kilda should be folded. When you play a team who employs ultra defensive tactics they normally bring you down to their level.

Anyway, Richmond supporters don't give a crap about St Kilda who is only there to make up the numbers.

And I suppose you guys shot yourselves in the foot with the biggest recruit of the century, good ole Buddy, for no premierships in return - :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

Would be nice if we didn't miss our opportunities in front of goals or i50 every week. Hopefully it changes one day, but I feel like we've never been accurate.

Hotton's hands are the fastest I have ever seen
Hotton has made a really impressive start. He goes for big marks and nearly gets them, has great hands like you said, is a play maker who opens up the game and looks a natural.

kids going to be special..
gets a pre season under his belt and bigger and better things are incoming in 26'

To no man's land for another generation with Ross as head coach. 60 years and counting is a long time to go without a premiership.
?? Richmond were the older team today.
You were missing who today? Your acting like we had a full strength squad and just barely fell over the line.

It’s a shame Sinclair and Marshall won’t be around to taste success. Absolute stars in their prime.
Sad but true. Sinclair is one of my favourite non Freo players.

Not the most talented or elite by any stretch, but he is reliable and versatile.

All teams should have a player Like him

Yeh,nah. Your mob gets significantly more in equalisation, got COLA, academies, had the entirety of NSW to yourself for 30 years, gifted 2 of the best forwards to ever strap on a pair of footy boots, and AFL house making sure Andrew Dunkley and Barry Hall got off obvious suspensions to play in GFs and the flag count in the last 92 years is still only 2 v 1.

Don't let the truth get in the way of a good rant !!

Horrific game. 3 or 4 individual efforts was enough to get the points today but it was as bad a performance as they have had all season. Fashionable to blame RTB but it looked like Richmond parked 18 behind the ball all day and we kept kicking it to them. Saints have played the entire season without their first choice full forward and full back and are hopelessly undersized. Camineti the 3rd forward, has had to play full back and Sharman, who is essentially a half forward flanker, as the main forward target. Some sort of miracle they have won 8 games and probably says a bit about the teams they have beaten. Some decent youngsters and who will be very good in a year or two. Based on age profile and potential I would much rather be Richmond or St. Kilda than Carlton, Melbourne or Essendon.

Why do Richmond get called young?

Midfield - Taranto, Hopper, Prestia, MacIntosh, Nankervis
Backline - Vluastin, Short, Broad
Forward - Lynch,

That's s fair amount of expirence that plays majority of their games. Compare that to North or West Coast, its a big difference.

Yep 9/44 players determine the demographic of the team

Yep 9 experienced players, majority multiple premiership players helping the rest of the mostly very inexperienced list develope. This is the correct way to rebuild your list while staying competitive unlike the teams you mentioned. Saying that I don't think winning was the number 1 focus of the club today, not using the sub say for an exhausted macintosh was a head scratcher indeed.

He is a brain dead flog

Doesnt deserve to be a premiership player ever
Classless comment. Particularly the ‘brain’ reference in the context of his surgery. To overcome what he has is deserving of praise, not ridicule. Was loved by the playing group at the Tigers and deserved to be a premiership player but other factors conspired against him.

You seem upset that I pointed that out. I was making a statement that Richmond have some very experienced players compared to North and West Coast. I believe that's the correct way to do a rebuild ala Hawks. So very defensive.

At least now we have the answer to the question, "What sort of game would even Ross Lyon describe as, "ugly"?
