Game Day Tigers v Sydney (tickets/pre-game function)

G'day all,

Wasn't sure where to post this so I'm starting my own post.

Looking to secure tickets in a Tiger zone at the SCG. Normally I just grab general admission when interstate but thought I would try my hand at hanging with some fellow Tigers instead this time. Any tips for getting tickets including pre game functions etc?

It's my first week of holiday in 3 years. I will be thirsty.

p.s As a side note, do we have an interstate travel thread set up?

I ordered my ticket from Ticketek the day they became available. But I never recevied the ticket by SMS as I'd requested. I've lodged requests for help on Ticketek's web site twice now and had no response.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get in touch with Ticketek in a way that they will respond to? I tried the Richmond Club help line, but they told me that I had to contact Ticketek, which is not going very well.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Not uncommon for them to take a while to be sent to you, especially if the event is still a while away. Don’t panic. They’ll turn up if the money has been taken from your account.

There’s a section on the website where you can check purchases made from your account. If the tickets are showing in there then they will be sent to you at some point.

Thanks for the tip. One point I didn't mention was that used one of my member allocated out of state games to book the ticket. I live in the ACT. The ticket is listed in the Tickets section in the Ticketek app on my iPhone. It tells me that the "ticket isn't available right now. Try again later" when I hit the "Add to Apple Wallet" button. I guess that confirms what you said last week.

What does puzzle me though is that when i ordered my member allocated seat for the Dreamtime game, plus 3 guest tickets, they came through straight away.

The Ticketek web set is one of the more difficult and frustrating that I've struck in a while.
