Are we tanking or something?
I think Eagles aren't going to get the quality they need. They will look at bringing in Hayden Schloith, Bailey Banfield or Kyron Hayden as another big bodied mid at 68. There was a reason they traded for all those second rounders. Its so they could stock up on WA talent. I can see how it could be seen as frustrating. They'll have to take Kelly at 21 with Geelong and North both apparently Keen. Stoddart gives that run that they need also a WCE supporter, will probably allow Duggan to move inside. They'd look to Taylor but he will be gone by 32. Starcevich is a gun and Melbourne apparently keen. Ryan will be gone by the eagles next pick after 39.

I think you're just guessing on this.
In the last three years 10 of our 13 picks in the national draft have been interstate players (Duggan, Lamb, Nelson, Cavka, Partington, Cole, Mutimer, Allen, Venables and Rioli).
Two of the WA boys have been the Waterman boys at late picks and Rotham was best available at the pick we selected.
If anything I think our recent history indicates that we have no qualms selecting interstate talent.

this whole thing is speculative. I too don't think West Coast has any problems picking who they feel. I just think Allen is the best fit. They're keen on Kelly they'll have to go early to get him. Stoddart not from WA and Starcevich is one the best available at 32. They weren't going to give up their first round next year for nothing. They've definitely got people in mind and coincidently WA have alot of good players likely to make up the second round.

Here's a hint, seeing as you have just said that you basically got no idea, why don't you let the semi experts do their thing and you stick to the mock draft threads, rather than creating two ordinary at best ones. Not a keyboard warrior, just simply pointing out how you haven't learned your lesson from the first time and yet again you're getting defensive.
And youve still havent given a basis as to where you think my draft is wrong, again i got no issues if you actually give feedback, instead of just going into attack mode from the start.

Picks 8, 9 and 20 are the only picks that are reasonably close to happening. Almost every other pick ignores all the current information of who is likely to go where, who is rising and why, who is sliding and why, what the clubs supposedly think of certain players, and what are club needs.

That far off? Ok thanks.

Eagles are planning for life without JK, The WA Larke Medalist fits the bill, he's intelligent and could even push to the midfield in time. I believe they can get that outside class with Stoddart at 26 who's a West Coast supporter (more likely to stay). Higgins could be there but think they wouldn't use such a high pick on a small. Willie Rioli to kill it this year
We already HAVE tall forwards to replace JK (M Allen and Waterman) in whom they have invested at least a year of work. With the Eagles more pressing midfield needs taking O Allen with their first pick would be an unnecessary luxury.

Rather the eagles went worpel than ryan at 37.ryan should be there a lot later in the draft, probably rookie draft

Think if they eagles want him they'll have to use 37, Port and Pies would be likely suitors, eagles next pick a team 69 is too late

I agree, think Worpol would be a good inclusion, I want them to take Constable at 13 but don't think that's likely. Ryan definitely will not make it to the rookie draft, with the depth of this draft I doubt he makes it out of the 4th round

It depends on how you view him, the kid is extremely versatile. Could play a whole number of positions. Key, wing or on ball. They could get a worpel or a more mature type in banfield banfield/schloith later in the piece. I don't see how obrien or Higgins is going to fill the hole of priddis and mitchell. Allen the best available for the eagles behind constable imo

I think ryan would be a huge flight risk and that alone would be enough to put interstate teams off.
Then you factor in a perceived lack of professionalism(i know he's improved) and i think an extremely late pick/rookie pick is most likely.
On talent top 20 but all the other stuff..

I don't see how nabbing another third tall (we already have Darling and Waterman) is planning for life after JK.

Are you a full time prick or do you just do it part time ?

Not when its constructive but when keyboard warriors just spout filth for the sake of it but dont actually say anything that contributes to a dicussion.
I dont have time do research like knightmare. This is not my job. I'm not saying that im an expert - i love draft time and wanted to have a crack at it. My first one was crap, so i did another - boo f*n hoo.
You think its crap, why dont you correct it? Why dont you put forward a valid argument about which choices are wrong and then who you'd choose instead. Put your awesomeness on the line and do a mock draft while your at it.
I guess seeing as you believe mine is so wrong, yours will be spot on come draft night.

Because that would be showing some balls. Lol

He's clearly not a third tall. 191 and growing with huge wingspan and elite jump. Waterman is third tall material barely scrapes 190. Darling isn't that key position either. Eagles aren't going to win a premiership soon so they need to pick the best player for their future which is Allen.

I don't think any other team will have a problem picking him. He takes hangs for fun and kicks goals by the bag. He will put bum's in seat$$$$ he could possibly get home sick but by then he could be established and you'll have to pay overs for his top 20 talent eg Cameron a well as compete with freo for him. In this shallow draft I think they'll go early to get him. Get lecrae out of the side

Waterman's a third tall. Allen has the ability play a number of positions. You're not going to find a the contested mid you need at 13, unless they take the punt on constable which I think is unlikely. O'Brien and Higgins won't fill the need. Allen 191 and growing, huge wingspan and elite jump. Oscar Allen is the best available, you've got guys like Vennibles who are waiting to come into the midfield, Duggan, ah chee, reddan, shuey. Your midfield is in the state you think it is.
