What do you think about boyle? I know his been plagued with a sevre broken leg and a hamstring injury in the late rounds of the 2005 season...but what do you see in the future for Boyle??

I feel he looked very nice playing chf against port i think it was....He was leading at the right time and leading well but if injury doesnt rob him of the next season i think he will be rotated from back to forward but will be spending more time down back...

What do you think of boyle and where will he play next season?

He could hopefully come good at the perfect time for us. Unfortunately he's not gonna get much time to settle in, as I reckon we'll send him straight into the deep end next season.

Good pair of hands, great leap, judgement, very simliar to how Jade Rawlings looked, very simliar, but he can kick ;) .

I think he'll play a fullback role, and could potentially play the floating CHB role as well IMO.

Kid has had terrible luck which has probably played on his mind a bit, but during a stretch of games at Box Hill he was in incredible form in a forward duo with Dutchy before getting the call up to Hawthorn.

Kid has a lot of early Jade Rawlings about him, but a better kid, more athletic and more grunt.

I think he will be a freak down back or up foward depending on our situation, looked a real good type with strong hands and a good kick, the thing that really impressed me was the way he moved to the ball and around the contest, looked a real likley type to me...

Who knows though, i hope he gets an injury free run next year!

Rawlings mkII.

Capable floating 3rd tall down back or up foward. Can't ever really see him as a dominate K/P player at AFL level but a very dangerous option that forces the opposition to look for a correct match-up for.

6'5, clean hands (invaluable in modern footy), terrific work-rate, solid skills. Now.. just a bit of luck on the injury front and we've got ourselves a player.

Yeah i look forward to watching Boyle play next year! Touch wood, he gets through a full pre-season which he hasn't been able to do and he will be a very good player. Would love to see him up forward but maybe he's suited to say FB in years to come. Either way, he's going to be a good player who can mark and has good skills.

Probably the player, along with Roughy, I most look forward to seeing after a productive pre-season.

Is my favourite type of player, the contested-marking machine (probably because we haven't had one for so long), and this kid has a pair of the cleanest hands going around. :thumbsu:

2006 = Year of the Boyle. :thumbsu:
Really expecting/hoping for big things from Boyle in 06, clearly has a lot to offer, a good preseason and a bit of luck with injuries and i think he will become a very good player for us.
