I can't think of a player less likely to be traded actually (unless you're suggesting he's getting divorced but I doubt that).

It’s a foregone conclusion that Fremantle play finals in 2025 - likely Top 4.

On topic, Kelly is being under rated and has at least a couple of years of good footy left in him - in the right role maybe more - noting he has never been played in his preferred role at WCE due to the complete inability for the likes of Yeo and Shuey to actually stay on the park.

Fremantle though are the only viable option should he leave West Coast due to his family circumstances - there is absolutely no way he leaves Perth, it won’t happen.

I don’t think he would have any major issue at all moving on from WCE, he’s a family and friends before the club kinda guy and he’s already tight with Bolton and Narkle.

I do think Freo would be keen - in a similar mould to why JOM is at the club and why Nat Fyfe hasn’t been farmed off yet - he’s quality and has experience - there would be a list spot for him, easily. Probably comes down to money with Freo tied to more long term big contracts than anyone else - Kelly might need Fyfe to pull the pin to pick up a 2-3 year deal from Freo.

That all said, it’ll come down to how this season unfolds - if it’s 4 wins and an average year from TK then he’s probably on his way and that’s ok - if WCE get a new coach bounce and Kelly has a 2023 level season then I think he stays to finish out his days at WCE.

That was my point. He's not leaving WA without Caitlin divorcing him and I doubt he wants to get divorced. His manager just wants to get an extra year out of the Eagles on what they are offering.

That extra year was probably to ensure he stayed an eagle and didn’t look elsewhere.

Can start to see what the list manager is trying to do bringing in selected retreads and holding on to older players.
