Yes, I feel at times he lacks creativity in congestion, gets caught holding the ball a fair bit..and it can be a little demoralising when the ball then moves the length of the field for an opposition score.

I also feel he holds the play up too, great mark which is his strength but will often not move the ball on quickly by hand instead opting to consume time and kick....which would be okay if he was a good inside fifty kick but he is not!

He's a bit slow and a class below the rest of our forwards, but a really hard worker who kicks straight. It's given us the contest depth we needed.

For sure. Even yesterday he got an assist and the second most score involvements of any of our forwards behind Elliott. He’s playing his role well considering we don’t often target him (was McStay first and Checkers second before Dan’s injury and now we’re after the ground ball and target our smalls more).

I reckon we got him for his ability to get down the line and provide a marking option. Goals will be a bonus. Very astute pick up

Yes I think we have very good chemistry with our players atm they all look happy to be at the Pies and really with the way the teams are playing and the coaching across the board why would they want to be anywhere else.

He has 14 and we’re not even half way through the season.
