Not sure that Membrey counts as a positive, but it's not hard to think that he'll be good value if we start getting the ball forward with any sort of system.

The whole forward line was shithouse today, not just Membrey. Even Cameron was frigging useless when he was up forward, dropping marks, fumbling the ball, giving away needless free kicks and missing a shot on goal (yes it was on an angle but he's kicked those many times before).

Of course the slow kick it long and high to the best intercept marking duo in the competition strategy didn't help, and the kicking even when we were moving it more quickly was generally well off target, but the forward line had their chances today especially early in the first and third quarters.

His dropped mark near the end of Q2 and then brain fart in Q4 hurt as both resulted in a GWS goal.

Thought I'd be coming in here seeing a tonne of Membrey hate but I'm pleasantly surprised.

We asked him in his first real hit out for the club to try negate the AA FB and probably the best intercept mark in the league, and to be honest the ball movement and structure did him zero favours.

Could've had 3 or 4 goals, though he made mistakes he probably doesn't make the rest of the year.

It was probably one of the most promising, dirty games I remember seeing. I think he'll add plenty as the year goes on.

He was great tonight.And I didn’t think he was all that bad last week considering how poor the delivery was onto the forward line.I think he’s going to be a very good pick up,especially since we got him for nothing.

I now understand the bullishness about Tim pre season. Had him down as good depth but think I underestimated him. Sneaky and smart and reliable kick with excellent work rate. Impressive tonight.
