Im pretty sure TOB was recruited to be a KPF ....
"The Hawks’ first selection at the 2012 NAB AFL Draft, O’Brien justified his high rating with a promising first year at VFL level. A developing key forward, the South Australian played 11 senior and eight development league matches for Box Hill, booting a combined 24 goals. Still needs to add size to his frame and looks likely to spend another season at state level."

What the press writes and what is the case are often quite different.
Even at Box Hill TOB does not play as KPF, he plays a s a flanker with the Grim one playing FF and the extra tall role being filled by the resting ruckman. This pushes pushes TOB out to the HFF were he plays a lead up/wide flanker/decoy role.
I don't know that 193 cm will be tall enough for a KPF in 5 to 10 years time. But regardless, at 83kg he does not have the bulk or strength to play a Roughead role if you look at the size and strength of Roughy and all of the contemporary number one forwards at the top sides today let alone in the future.
The TRUE KPFs of the AFL sides:
Roughead: 193cm 100 kg
Farkland: 196cm 103 kg
Tippett: 202cm 104kg
Petrie: 197cm 101kg
Schulz: 193cm 95kg (relative runt but as a soon to be 30 yo he is representative of yesteryears KPFs)
Hawkins: 197cm 105kg
Clarke: 200cm 103kg (put in for comparison purposes only as I don't expect him to be any good at the cats)
Pavlich: 192cm 99kg (at 33 yo he is even more last decade than Schulz)
Daniher: 202cm 94kg (soon to be 21 yo he will fill out)
Riewoldt Jack: 195cm 94kg (trimmed down to play higher up the ground and wasn't that a success!)
Kennedy: 196cm 99kg
Walker: 192cm 100kg (a bit short)
Cloke: 196cm 108kg
Lynch: 199cm 97kg (at 22yo he should fill out a bit more)
Carlton has no KPF
Boyd: 201cm 102kg
Brisbane has no KPF post J Brown
Cameron: 195cm 95kg (almost 22)
Patton: 198cm 103kg (almost 22 may never come back)
Dawes: 193kg 105kg
Riewoldt Nick: 193cm 96kg (at 32 yo again so last decade)
It is interesting to note the extreme heights and mass of the younger emerging KPFs like Daniher, Boyd, Patton, & Lynch.
So where does TOB at 193cm and a 83kg, sit in this list exactly?
He is not going to grow another 5cm.
As for putting on another 15kg, well Schoey did it and that did not work out that well. Also TOB has stated categorically that he is no going to bulk up so how is he ever going to add the extra weight? And even if he did in five years at 193cm he would just about be the shortest KPF going around in the AFL matched only by Tex Walker given that all of the other shorties would have retired by then.

Good one! Heights can be funny things. Clarko is listed at 177 cm which isn't as bad as it looks and I'm 179 yet look/feel lot taller than the little man. Same as Sammy who I've seen close up and although he looks 160 on the ground he is actually lot closer to 180! Listed heights may not be the full truth. Didn't Buddy change his profile from 196 to 198 as soon as he defected? Flog.
