Going round on the Dees board that he will request a trade to the MFC at the end of season. Mad Dees supporter who was told by the Giants to change his profile pics on social media so he wasn't in Dees gear.

They're in the thick of it most of the time though - it'd get pretty annoying.

Meh, happened with Melbourne with Hogan and Freo with Fyfe. Hell, Freo constantly copped it all through Pav's career so they are hardly alone. Have a look at Adelaide over the last 5 years, constant speculation.

Even if what you say is true they were built partly by poaching from other clubs so it's natural it will happen. Anyway, it's a massive compliment of the quality of their youngsters and many of them are quick to point that out. It's a bit rich seeing the same posters complain about it as well

And we've had it with all of the suspended players as well as Laverde to St Kilda rumours for the last 4 years. Regardless of the circumstances it's still a massive pain in the butt.
Cannot see Taranto leaving at all, especially given they traded their way up the draft order to select one of him & McGrath as well as being able to take their academy kids. They went to too much trouble to let him walk out so soon.

Does not seem unhappy up there, seems to be enjoying his footy and has been down here a few times in the past few weeks so not like he never sees his mates or anything. Took him a few weeks to get comfortable there which is natural but still doubt he leaves any time soon.

Yeah remember when the Giants lost the number 1 draft pick after only 1 year? Now there's talk they'll lose the number 2 draft pick after only 1 year, but this happens to every club

Many teams cop it, but the way GWS fans carry on is like it's never happened before

Most of the time its okay. The BS ones like this are not.
This one rates with last years Lobb is gone when he was always contracted to the end of this year and extended at the first opportunity.
And Dylan Shiel is gone for sure when he'd announced publicly he wasn't considering offerrs.

If he does go, you'd think it would be next year when his contract expires. He does seem to be enjoying some of the Sydney lifestyle (the beaches) as seen on his social media accounts and if you're going by an article about his rising star nomination, he's "adjusted well to life in Sydney". He may very well stay at the Giants for the medium term if he extends his contract.

I do know first hand however that he was a mad Dees' supporter right up until he got drafted. Played footy with him from u9s-u12s down at Mordi-Brae and for the past few years on Facebook he's shown his passion for Melbourne on a pretty regular basis. He actually still has a profile picture with a frame labelled 'Melbourne' in red and blue colours on his Facebook which is pretty funny considering he was told to take anything Melbourne related off his social media accounts by the Giants and you can find a couple of posts he shared from the Melbourne Facebook page in his draft year as well.

If he does want to get traded, assuming back to Victoria, I can see the Dees being his preferred destination. Will be interesting to see how he fares for the rest of the year and whether he ends up staying at the Giants in the short term.
