This thread doesn't normally come out until March but when I see threads asking whether or not you should have cheese on an egg and bacon roll at the Pound it's clear that this board has a serious case of summer fever and needs relief. Urgently.
So before we start eating our own offspring (with or without cheese) out of sheer frustration ... let's turn our minds to some serious footy predictions for 2016.
This thread will remain open untilGood Friday (25 Midnight Wed 23 March at which point the mods will lock it until after the GF when we can all have a good laugh about what we thought back in the pre-season. ("WTF was I thinking!")
You may edit your post as often as you like up until the thread is locked. No ninja edits by the mods during the year (I will take snapshots of each entry ... hehehe).
This year I've declared up front how many points for getting each answer right so it'll be much easier to work out the winner of the Nostradamus Award in October. See below. [The 2015 result for each question is in square brackets.]

Games won: [14] 5 pts if dead right. 3pts if one off the correct answer, 1 pt if 2 off.
Final ladder position after Rd 23: [6th] 4 pts if dead right. 2pts if one off the correct answer, 1 pt if 2 off.
How far will we go in the finals (Flag, R-Up, Week 3, Week 2, Week 1 or won’t make finals)? [Week 1] 4 points for correct answer.
Charles Sutton Medal (B&F) top three, in order: [Wood, Murphy, Bontempelli] 5 points for the winner, 2 points for a correct place getter (any order). 3 point bonus if you pick all three in correct order.
Most Brownlow Votes/How Many: [Bontempelli (13)] 5 points for correct player. 3 point bonus if you also get votes right.
Leading Goalkicker after Rd 23/ Goals scored: [Stringer (56)] 5 points for correct player. 3 points bonus if you also get the correct goals, or 2 pts for nearest the mark if nobody gets it right.
