Yes I decide. Yes, I am qualified. Yes, I apply the rules with an even hand . Duty of care? Get over yourself. It's an internet forum. Yes, my concept is and has to be flexible but is carried out in what I believe are the best interests of the board.

Airing your moderating grievances publicly is never a good idea(oh Im quite sure it isn't). It might lead us to believe you are just looking to undermine us(or point out the obvious), and as such, are derailing threads and making a nuisance of yourself (which allows you to control the board discussion, to that which you deem suitable).

If you have a specific grievance, feel free to message me.(I did, I wasted my time). Other than that, my time is valuable and you are wasting it(God forbid, you being so I, I,I,I and all)
And you are suggesting I get over myself? (4, I's and 1 MY in one paragraph, I note you didnt even use the term "us" untill the second paragraph)

Now whats that saying...absolute power..

Not at all, just correcting you, happy to help you out by the way. As you are a moderator you really should be a role model with regard to your position and how you administer it. Some of the comments you have made have been somewhat ..clarifying as to board practice.

Thats okay though, public comments are always subject to public replies.

No need to worry at all, oh did you want to card me?
You are determined to be carded so that you can claim your rights were contravened when you return again

Is there any doubt on this

If we pay for access to the site you do owe us a duty of care as consumers.

Terrible performance today. i was sitting right next to sticks tonight. even he was getting frustrated and huffing and puffing! We as supporters should not except mediocre performances like tonight and last week. there is no excuse for those 2 losses. since north and fremantle are younger group then us. we get frustrated because we expect better, and we should expect better against those sides. FFS fremantle have won 1 game out of the last 10 at etihad. If we lost the games to StKilda and geelong and beaten north and fremantle then i wouldnt be so pissed off. But how can a team be so competive 1 week and be the opposite the next. something is not right at that football club!

IMO here is where we went wrong:

- Kicking in the first quarter, we could have had Freo on the ropes if we kicked 4.3 or even 5.2

- Efficiency: Passing was terrible all night, with sveral players passing to someone under pressure or putting someone into a pressure situation.

- Not enough help for Juddy

- Took too long to start playing a style of footy that could have won us the game

- We didn't go through the guts whcih has worked so well for us in other games this year. On that note, our forwards missed goals and the 3 small forwards didn't get enough opportunities due to us going so wide.

"we have players who read their own hype and have a wank over it, they believe that they are better than they are"

"the circle jerk at Carlton must stop"

"We seem to still be living on our victory's over Geelong and the Saints"

Can you explain how those comments make any sense at all, and on what basis have you made them?
yeah, they listen to you guys on bigfooty telling them how good they .The so called best 22 they read all the time. wank, wank.

Joseph out ???? Go back and have a look at how many touches Ballantyne (arguably Freo's most dangerous forward when Pav isn't there and certainly their most dangerous small forward) got.

Armfield out ???? Go back and have a look at how many touches (useful ones) that Hill got. And then take note of how many times Armfield was responsible for him NOT getting it, or not getting a useful disposal.

Jesus H ... you people are scapegoat mad. Why aren't you howling for Carrazzo's head? Pavlich had a fair bit of it and when Carrazzo got it, he turned it over repeatedly going inside our forward 50.

But no, it was all the fault of this year's whipping boys, Joseph and Armfield.

We didn't have too many winners on the night, but Armfield and Joseph were far from losers.
We got the clap you got the clap! ladaddidididadadada

when the world throws your a jeffrey stroke the furry wall!

If anybody hasn't seen get him to the greek go and see it haha classic.

Anyway oldblue fan you make sense because if anybody thinks anybody in the blues team could do a better job on hill you are delusional! army dominated him for the pace and kept him to 16 touches (actually less if you count the couple he got when he wasnt on him.) and dennis himself got 16. Army did a great job against hill and joseph definitely did a good job on ballentyne... so the people saying that they should be dropped watch the ******* game!

hadley reminds me of what happened to bannister. puts in some good performances now and then, not a bad player, somehow stays on the list in spite of not playing a whole lot of games (through either injury or non-selection).

don't know if it's nostalgia, but i miss wiggins...

ellard?
It's as Simple as that the recruiters stuffed up here was Barry Hall for us for peanuts but we don't take him.He would have been the perfect set up with Henderson. They give away a early pick to get another midspud with the other midspud they already had.

go post another pic spledini, you are good for that at least :thumbsu:
Dude this thread is what... ten pages(?) long and you've done nothing but bag the team, coach, players, recruiters, plus fellow supporters, posters, the rules and moderators of this forum.

I mean literally, that's all you've done.

Insult, belittle, vent, scream at and ridicule others, act like a tool and generally dig yourself into a massive hole.

I just don't understand some people.

After another insipid performance from our captain, I'd like to give him the name: Chris Spud.

His disposal seems to be getting worse every week. And if he can't handle a tag from a dickwad like McPhee then he can hardly consider himself elite. Pull your socks up Judd and work for the exorbitantly large paycheck we're giving you.

Typical Brett Ratten bullshit. Can't coach, end of story. The only reason we beat St. Kilda + Geelong is because they play a similar brand of football to us, and they don't take us all that serious. They were missing players as well. (Riewoldt and Scarlett)

Ratten has no idea how to stead the tide when things aren't going our way. Sack the spud. We are going nowhere with him at the helm.

And yes, Armfield, Hadley and Joseph piss off. WH can also take a hike.

Wallsy for coach next year? He does a good job coaching from the commentary box.
Thornton rant - straight to youtube favourites.

I thought Irish was injured and am sick of the bag Thornton & Houlihan club.

These 2 were not the reason we lost (delivery from the mids was atrocious in the first half} and that mark of Thorntons alone should give him breathing space, thought he looks like returning to form and probably should spend more time in the forwards.

Cannot understand how Hadley isn't in everyone's list of outs and don't like the chances of Waite playing for a couple of weeks unless he changes his name to Hille

And no place for Murphy?

Another one who clearly has difficulty watching a game and actually seeing/critiquing what's going on.

Nominates one guy, who, when he went back actually stemmed the flow of scoring that Freo were doing - Houlihan, and another who looked the most likely up forward when no-one else was able to snare a grab, and was asked to fill-in in the ruck against a guy who's about 25cms taller and 30 kgs heavier - Thornton

Watch the game again (or for the first time) and have another crack.

You are right. I am biased. I just don't like Thornton as a defender as to me he is just too slow and doesn't take them on. So it would take a 30 possesion game and 90% kicking efficiency for me to appreciate his efforts. Anything below that and he irritates the bejusus out of me. Unrealistic expectations?
yes.

He is by no means the worst player in the team, but not far off it...and I want speed in the team. White has speed and is courageous.

Houlihan's best position is half forward and he wasn't kicking goals. Well done for "stemming the tide in defence" though...who won the match last night again?

We both know Houlihan and Thornton won't get dropped as they are "wise heads" and weren't in the bottom 2 or 3 players- I just don't appreciate their fair contributions. I want excellent contributions from "seasoned campaigners."

I'd prefer to move onto something that isn't working rather than celebrate something that is

And it's fair to say the CFC isn't working at the moment

Freo had 5 of their best 22 out we pretty much had a full list apart from Setanta and Kreuzer

We had 2 extra days to prepare

They had to travel

We were coming off a loss where we should have been breathing fire this week

It's hard to accept
excellent point. Can you PM me when you have fixed the club then?

I think Murphy and McLean are in our best 22 as is probably Hampson!!

I think we need to send a few to the 2's. This game is as much about confidence as it is about skill. Carrazzo and Joseph i think will be definate outs. Not sure if i would add Hadley to the list as i think this is as good as we get from him. Losing Kreuzer wont be too hard to cover.

But eff me, we need to get the ball in to the forward 50 quicker than we have been. Henderson showed a lot with those grabs that he took in the final quarter. Makes a difference when we get the ball in long to him and Waite.

I think this could be Rattens last year as coach. Im not convinced that he is gonna be up there with some of the greats in the game.

Anyways, guys. Heads up we can still finish the season in the 8.

This thread is pathetic. We lost. Get over it you sooks. Put it in bloody perspective. We are in the 8 around about where most people expected us to be. You all got your hopes up thinking we're top 4 and got let down. Suck it up.
