I wonder if there is any merit in sending Redden to hff to tackle his arse off as a defensive forward. Tackling pressure in the forward half is a current weakness and it is one of his strengths. Obviously we have very few forward options for this sort of roll without the likes of rioli and cameron available.

Sheed in my opinion improved in 2019 from his 2018 output. Playing HFF isn't ideal BUT he has at least been able to accumulate disposals there and kick goals.

All he needs to do is tackle more and then he goes up a step in my eyes.

I don't see a spot for him there, but I think Redden would be good as a half back flanker in the Shepp mould. Good tank, decent size, good overhead, penetrating and tidy kick. Better handball than Shepp (not hard, sorry love you Shepp).

Duggans a stinker of a goal kicker so I wouldn't roll him up beyond the wing. Could Tommy Cole play HFF? He strikes me as one who would relish the defensive forward role.

Yes, I would like to see Watson in the team. He hasn't disappointed when given the opportunity, and just needs a longer run of consecutive games. He was excellent in our Alice foray last year.

One of those players i thought that looks better playing AFL than the WAFL. Ditto Rotham.

We have to drop one of Brander or Redden.

Redden should either play on the wing with some mid rotations minutes or play as a tagger because atm he is struggling on the HHF and doesn't impact like Sheed can do when resting there.

Kelly and Shuey both have pace, which is essential for guys who start with their backs to goal.

We’d honestly be more balanced if we shifted one of Shuey/ Kelly forward and got Yeo behind the ball at stages.

It’s not like we’re short on inside midfielders, or can’t rotate according to needs.

At the moment are mids aren’t winner their fair share of the ball inside so it can’t hurt. Our forward mix is all wrong for a side getting low quantity and low quality entries, far too tall.
