6. Mark Blake is not and will never make an AFL footballer. He cannot take an overhead mark, even if he is matched up against someone nearly a foot shorter than him. He is just a very ordinary footballer who happens to have a father that played at the club. A liability - Put Ottens into the ruck, if he is as fit as we are lead to believe then he will be able to ruck most of the match. Rotate him with Mooney if need be. I can't believe I am saying this but I would rather Playfair in the team than Blake.

Well don't follow them. If they flood then we maintain posession until an option appears. If we get it in there quick enough then they won't have time to flood. Didn't see the Bulldog forwardline crowded...

Good work ...Year of the Cat...making sense...agree with you....except I think Blake can be a handy second ruckman in a couple of years time....not there yet but give him some time. He is still improving.

Agree WAG. If anyone's old enough to remember, his dad was a bit a pretty ordinary ruckman for a long time... then improved with experience and ended up dominating in his final years. Mark could well be the same and in the meantime can be a handy back up tap ruckman but don't expect anything more at this stage in his career.

Blake is allright at rucking just around the ground needs to improve same could be said about King.

Thompson made a couple errors yesterday
Leaving Harley on Johnson, i would of thought Dash or Egan would have been a better option.
Should give Tenace as much ground time as possible.
Egan to the forward line was stupid.
After quarter time Geelong didn't really dictate terms of play, which they should of.
