Dangerfield >>>> Essendon in my honest fact.

mmm, for starters in my honest fact, what the hell does that mean, don't mean to be rude but your comment is crude and meaningless, how can an unblooded player be greater than a team. I was simply expressing an opinion on the guy, not being critical just saying he should wait another year, he is a young guy, wait till he has finished year 12, it would be worth it. And Yes he did play for West Adelaide on the weekend to the guy who claimed he didn't.

I do think he's ready from a physical standpoint but it's not my decision, nor is it yours.

Also I scanned your profile and my comp returned "Error 505: Humour not Found"

Spot on. We've got a duty of care with Danger. We have people that can fill the breach left by Macca and Fred, we should use them. The only problem I see is that Symes and Moran will both be underdone, that may be the risk we can't take against Geelong. I suspect that if Maric is out, Griff and Rowdy will both get spots.

I think Danger could be a possibility.

I would absolutely love to see Trent come back in, but I don't think we currently have a position in the side for Moran.

We looked to be one player tall on the weekend, with Bassett out I'd rather bring Symes in for him. Keep in mind Mackay will also be looking to reclaim his position, and would be in a similar boat.

Griff comes in for Maric, if injured.

Trent would need to come in for one of Tippett or Jericho. Even then, if he came in for Jericho, I'd be worried we'd gone too tall again.

Would love to see Danger debut though.

I heard Cupido on 5AA last night and he was massively talking up Dangerfield. Said that he has seen many AFL youngsters in his time at Brisbane and Essendon and says that Dangerfield is really top shelf, very strong and already possesses the tools and the skills of an experienced AFL player. Said that Westies cant wait to get him full time next year, but said the only negative is that they dont expect to have him for long because he recons that Rodney will be regularly playing AFL footy for the Crows by the end of 09.

Always good to hear what these blokes think having been there and seen the youngsters come through.

In terms of his attributes you couldn't really ask for a better youngster to work with than Danger. Disposal by foot is a slight weakness but with hard work can be improved. Ridiculous pace, strength to wrench the ball out of packs (which we have now seen at SANFL level), great at the clearances, strong overhead mark, goal kicker, seems to have a good head on his shoulders, it's all there. Massive talent.

Danger on Tex on Saturday...what a spectacle that would be ??????
I get the feeling if that happened, Coopers Stadium would look like this:

It looks like that now. Man, the place needs a facelift.

Edit: apologies to Norwood fans, i didn't read CC's post correctly, saw the photo and assumed he meant Footy Park / LAMI Stadium.

I feel it in my waters.

If Dangerfield can play a good game this week he will debut against Geelong.

Reason - why would Reidy, Jonas etc all be at the game on Sunday.

We are crying for someone to run the lines - he runs past them he is so quick.

His body shape is much better devleoped than Jacky and Otten.

He is all ready to go in my opinion.

With McCleod out Danger goes to his HBF.

He can also debut at home. This is the trend for AFC to blood players.

its all leading to one thing!!

You heard it first from the bigman.

Oh my god

You have sparked new hope into us, now finally there is a great reason for Danger to debut and you said it.:thumbsu:

C'mon Craigy, bring 'im in.
