Even without the racism stuff happening I would have said till the end of the 2027 season. In your opinion if we keep the stats quo for stability’s sake how much more time should they be given? It’s a very fine line in my opinion. If nothing has improved by this time next year it would be very to argue in favour of keeping the band together.
Who do you want to coach us next year?Only on BF can there be found excuses for poor performance. If the racism saga has impacted al Clarkos he should **** off. I fyi don't believe it has .

Clarko did. What about everyone else? Making no changes also seems negligent. Stability is important but so is progressHe signed a five year deal for a reason.
that would be idealYou would hope that the club is aggressively trying to get Simmo back to the club as an assistant.
I think he will be the perfect guy to challenge Clarkson and keep him in check.

Do you remember how shit we were then. Far worse than now. Low base sure but we've won twice as many games as that season. That entire year we scored three goals more than we have till now. We had no structure, couldn't move the ball etc etc.Clarko did. What about everyone else? Making no changes also seems negligent. Stability is important but so is progress
Don't be stupid.
How's he sposed to focus solely on coaching when all that shit was going on?
And after getting him to the club when we were in the shit and he could gone anywhere - definitely success at GWS was waiting for him - we then turn around and dump him in it.
No way we're anything ever after that.
That would be the definition of a heartless squib club.
That's life/society/reality, trial by media if an absolute f*cking disgrace, but sometimes you have to operate with the way things are not the way things should be. He was damaged goods after that point and not fit to tackle that colossal task ahead of him. He hadn't taken a single training session at that point and he didnt owe us anything and we didnt owe him anything. It's a cutthroat world, there is probably no human being alive that has bled more for the blue & white jumper than Wayne Schimmelbusch, but we gave him the arse as coach with so little fanfare that he had to find out he was sacked by hearing it on the radio before anyone at the club told him. We recovered pretty well from that I would have thought.
Well standing by him didn't do a lick of good, cos right now that is EXACTLY what we are, top to bottom.

We had a functional replacement in 1993.
You might think that.
Only in hindsight, Pages certainly wasnt seen like that at the time. Admits himself he was a complete dark horse for the job, as the club was mainly targeting Dermott Brereton but he declined, and the media narrative at the time was 'poor old North, have to hire their old under 19s coach cos no one wants the job lol'. Rodney Eade was the other candidate and not exactly seen as a hot property himself at the time.
Brings me no pleasure to type sentences like that, but yeh I do

We were at a pretty low ebb.
I wish it was tax deductibleI think I waited a bit longer to about Rd 5; it was the first time in my adult life I had disposable $ and that membership meant something

I intend to hold my judgement on the Matt Whitlock trade/draft-exchange until he plays a handful of games. Whitlock has played one game thus far. If we judged all AFL players on just one game, there are helluva lotta players that would not make the cut.
Find it also staggering that some folks want Clarko out. I agree that his first 2 seasons were garbage, but from what I could see this season, he is starting to re-emerge back to his old competitive ways again.
But agree with posters on here about giving the heave ho to the Snoz and Patch. I think they are holding us back. Lack of innovation in list strategy/recruiting has been a bug bear of the fans for along time (a strong competitor to D50 transition kick turnovers) and with the talent floating around in the midfield, Patch has not optimised that area of the ground.
Might've missed it but have any posters on this thread questioned our Captain? Cannot see the value he adds in terms of leadership (on & off the field). I've seen Clarko's press conferences this season, there is not a single mention of the value added by Simpkin to on-field or off-field leadership. There is only mention of how Parker, Darling and Daniel are adding to off field leadership. Where does this leave Simpkin?
K Dawson delistedDinkers I think its about time to start a Delist thread too.
Corr, Tucker, Bergman, Teakle (disappointed face), Payne is probably set in stone?
I dont think Corr being contracted will matter.K Dawson delisted
Corr contracted unfortunately

I think ideally we use last seasons as that will keep tabs of the amount over the years.
Yes Teakle is in trouble but heard a whisper he might play this week, but I doubt it.
On fire. Massive call and come through!!I think ideally we use last seasons as that will keep tabs of the amount over the years.
