why not??? he deserves should get a spot, but probably not on Monday.

He'll get a consolation game in about Round 21 if we are out of the finals race, before being delisted.

But Balmey said before the game last week he is very close to coming up to the 1's, that and being emergency the last two weeks shows he is close.

I saw the Willy v Tassie game on the telly and he definently looked the goods, I reckon he will play this year somewhere along the lines.

By the way I am watching Neighbours and Darren Stark is on!!! :D

I totally agree, he should play this year and see how he goes, but it won't be until late.

You guys are all really sure that he can play, and what not. But how many of you have actually seen him play more then once or twice or is everyone just acting on what they have heard from the disabled person they met on the train.

I've seen him play about 6-7 games, all on television though. The paper reports about him have been consistently good as has the Collingwood website reports.

I have seen all his senior games live at the ground except the game vs. Port Adelaide. As well as a few Willy games on TV and a few in person last year.
If you write him off this early you really have no idea. First of all big key position players take longer to develop and already Cam has shown a fair bit. He loves the physical aspect of the game the most as you can see. He is also pretty quick and smart on the lead, in the past few games the number of time he leaded inside 50 but got ignored was outstanding and once he solidifies his position in the team the midfielders will look for him a bit more.

Who are we talking about now - Cloke or Shackleton? I think some wires are crossed now.

I cant believe some of these threads. Time for him to step up? He is a kid for goodness sakes and big kids always take a little longer to develop. This kid has shown me enough to be extremely excited about 2005 when we get to start all over again with a full fighting fit list.

read the thread. Nobody's saying he's overdue. The initial post is related to Rocca (and now Tarrant) being unavailable this week, and how we'd love C-Clo to show a bit more of what he's been doing over the past few weeks to fill the void.

The rest of the thread is debating Shackleton's worth.

I saw him play 5 games last year in person for Williamstown added on with I guess 3 or 4 on telly so I reckon I have seen his worth and his value to the club.

He will come good.

I like Cameron. He took 2 magnificant one-handed grabs. One in the forward 50 that resulted in a goal.

I like the fact that he has a bit of mongrel in him. If you look at all the greats, and I am not comparing him to them but, they all have mongrel in them. D.Brereton, J.Brown, W.Carey and so on!!

Agreed!

He has alot of that in him, He loes the physical aspect of the Game which is a great thing.

Today he did well in teh first half and then faded away. Probably on the bench for most of last half.

But did you Guys see the spoil he did in the first term jumping over soime melbourne players head? That was awesome.

Will never have the pace or ground skills of Riewoldt. I just like his appatite for the contest as much as anything. What he is is an enthusiastic physical footballer as opposed to an athlete trying to display skills when someone gives him the ball. He will keep getting better. At 19 I am very happy.

CAM IS THE MAN!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
